O.o

I mean it was funny and all, but live action? With these goofballs? I smell a turd.

Uhg...

This is WAY past it's prime to be making a damn live-action movie. I loved the show back when it was on MTV, but now Mike is just beating a dead horse. I don't see Sean William Scott playing Butthead. I don't think he could pull it off. Jon Heder, on the other hand, could play Beavis VERY well. He even looks likes him. All in all though, I don't see this making anything in Theaters. It would make more on DVD as a finisher to the Beavis and Butthead collection.

Just seems more like a Fan movie than anything else. Just like Serenity. Made for fans to make them feel complete about the series.

I agree with you, though. I smell a turd IN Threaters but not on DVD.

It's really stupid, is what it is. Half of the stuff they do in the cartoons, you really couldn't pull off with live action. At least not to the same degree as animation can. I mean, Butthead takes a CHAINSAW to Beavis' finger while he's holding a grasshopper. That would just look extremely fake on the big screen, if live action were done.

Why doesn't Mike Judge focus on more recent projects for his sudden "live action" fetish? Something a little more plausible.

King of the Hill, anyone?

Unfortunately, King of the Hill doesn't have the following that Beavis and Butthead had, or ever will. I really believe that this is for the fans to have some sort of completion.
