Now I don't know if books are legal here, but this one bears reviewing.
Teo Te Ching is not a new book. It is technically thousands of years old. It is the basis of the religion to Tao, a sect of Buddhism that also stresses the middle way. The book, a compilation of 83 short poems, is often mysterious, very confusing, and the most thought provoking book I have ever read. Each of the poems packs so much insight and lessons that it is almost boggling that I finished it in less than half an hour. It covers all from the metaphysical to government (often in the same poem). It is often confusing, but the added effort can yield a quick treasure that anyone with a passion for philosophy should read.
Accomplish but don’t boast
Accomplish without show
Accomplish without arrogance
Accomplish without grabbing
Accomplish without forcing
That is the Tao.
