What the heck are you as an admin???
Do you know why I've asked you to send me a copy of the board a long time ago (still waiting, by the way?) ?
Because there's inside every IPB board journals of everything (except in the case you made them disappear or closed, that's also a possibility). Particulary, there's a journal (EDIT : I believe it's called a log in english gomendasai I forgot to translate) of what are the mods and admins where doing in the previous day!
Sk no Baka! You're too kind to check it, as always...
Night's Child >> A boy who says that he's a guy it's perfectly understandable (talking about Negi's post) and if there was such edit, I would agree that it was abusive.
By the way, nice avie. But respect a little more your little sister. Sooner than you think, it will be the only family on who you'll be able to count on...But I'll stop the getting off.

Yes...ZeroXX also has sent me PM's. I banned him from the Golden SUN RP for spamming and being rude (one post liners and saying "Your mama" In every post he did) so I told ihm to leave. He said "Fine" and left, then I tried to join one of his RP's he was like "Unbann me from your RP and I will let you join." And I told him that I stand with what I did because he broke the rules then he said "Fine leave and stop posting" And I said "Lol, Grudges don't solve anything" and he said "Yea they do, leave." Another person posted and he said "I hate him, he is a big fat nob and I hate him!".

Sorry, if I sound like a complete baka, but I think that each series should have one topic in the anime series discussion section. I think it is too much to have 5 different topics for the same series. =__= (Too...many...Loveless...topics) But this is just what I liked from Ty Kamara. Silently? I recall MyriadSouls added an OOC under the posts he corrected. It's a bit inappropiate to "edit" posts w/o notice. It tricks readers into the belief it was what the original poster wrote. Worse, the persons who wrote originally will never know, that they got "censored", or "corrected". Unless it's things like "he throat a kinfe" -> "He throwed a knife."
To be honest I don't know to which extend the GP "corrects" posts. Do they have sth like a "constitution" of what (and how) to edit and what not?

But that also rings up a bell.. I think if that person who got the warn, can actually acknowledge how he got the warn, if he/she clicks on the number underlined under their gender gif picture.
It should state the reason..well thats the same for the IPB I used b4..
Quoted flcooly (on Aug 7 2005, 02:07 AM) —
Recently there have been "incidents" where members posted in the forums about how they have been warned "unjustly" or for "no apparent reason". Could I suggest that the moderators or administrators, when giving out warnings, also send the person a PM explaining the warning.
In this way, the person would know the reason for the warn, and more importantly, if he/she wishes to contest the warn, the natural reaction would be to reply to the PM instead of posting in the forums.
Just my two cents worth.

It could have been a misinterpretation, or not. I haven't been in the introductions forum lately, but the most common reasons for closure of a topic is spam, and revived intro threads from long ago. It could have been misinterpreted by one of the mods or admins as a revival of an old intro thread.

It should be blatantly obvious why something is closed; it's either repeated, it's in the wrong section, it has the potential to become/is a flame war, it's inappropriate, or it's against the rules. You have a one in five chances of getting it right the first time, take a crazy whack at it.

No?
Damn j00s.
If you are curious as to why a topic is closed or deleted, or where it even is, you can always drop us a line. I'm here everyday.
Very true however, that it is probably annoying for you to have topics you were interested in, or that of which you had made, to be closed and be confused with the reason. It would be more convenient to you if we did, of course, and we'll try from now on. But if we forget, try to look through the topic before you tease us about being lazy.
And whenever I move topics, I don't leave a "moved" message in where it was originally posted. Why? Because it leaves 2 links. :Z
It's complicated, but generally, I get annoyed when people put things in the wrong place, and especially if it was in the vain hope that I would leave a moved topic message so that it could be seen in two forums.![]()
Then on again, I generally don't tell you in my own vain hope that it annoys you enough so that you don't make the same mistake.

You're pretty good at spamming elsewhere too, saying something on a personal level instead of retaining relevence.
An example of a thread gone way off-track: http://www.keiichianimeforever.com/boards/...ad,30359.0.html
You'd be surprised; I wouldn't blink if that topic got locked because of its sheer spamminess, just like the "What is going through your head?" topic.

It constituted as spam. It did not sound realistic at all. And it would have sparked random comments from members, and, as the way things are, things would have drifted into non-sensical chatter. I gave the creator the opportunity to justify his posting of that thread, and he basically told me he was really, really over-exagerrating.

Ah, yes it is getting out of topic but the last post before it was locked was on topic, meaning it was returning on-track, and she killed it. But really, that kind of topics, what do you expect, people saying "sorry about your cheek" for 4 pages?
The "What is going through you head?" is the same type as the "What song you're listening to" I think.
Why shouldnt people do that on a forum in the first place. You are not God, like, forbidding people to lie...
