I do not know what this place was like before the crash, but i would love to find out how it will be afterward. the concept of a futuristic environment like this is very interesting, and i would love to RP in it as well. so how does one go about rebuilding after a crash like that? just repost everything?

I say start over fresh, but then again, I'm a n00b, so it'd be mainly for my benefit, as well as any other n00bs out there.

Seriously though, we need to promote this forum, I mean, I bet if it get promoted more people will participate in it.

Excuse me if I seem like I'm butting in here, but I've got a suggestion, even though this place seems to have fallen apart...

Create a new rp scenario, call it something like "The Cleansing" or something else clever. In this new thread someone would write up a description of some sort of cataclysmic event that would explain in a believable way why everything in the rp vanished. Here's an example:

Maru woke up with a shock. She was lying underneath a pile of rubble in what used to be a municiple building for the city. The attackers had arrived out of nowhere, completely unexpected. Without mercy they had destroyed everything, there would be very few survivors if what she had seen happening with her own eyes was the same in other areas. With some effort she rose to her feet, shaking the debris from her body as she did so. Looking around her eyes widened in shock.

It's as if every thread of destiny has been torn, ripped asunder... she thought to herself, Almost as if our very existence had been shut off. Shaking her head clear of the odd thoughts she surveyed her surroundings once more.

Desolation, chaos...those were the only words to describe what had happened to this world. Now would be a time of new beginnings, of rebuilding what was lost, and it would be a time of revenge. Perhaps there were some who were left, willing to fight this new threat that had emerged. Maru smirked at the thought, a rare sign of emotion for one such as herself. Only time would tell.

In short, start over using the crash as an event that happened in the rp itself. You'd be able to keep characters, or kill them off as you see fit, revive old story lines, etc. Only now there would be a main threat, some sort of doomsday weapon or super intelligent alien race bent on the destruction of the universe, or you could even blame it on the humans themselves, since we always seem to want to destroy ourselves anyway.

Well, that's my suggestion, take it or leave it. Most of you may just ignore the dumb noOb. But if you want to revive something that must have been great in it's day (and I'm sad that I missed out on it) I think this is the way to go. And since no one else has come up with any decent ideas, why not?

I would like to join this section myself if only someone would decide how the old stuff that was destroyed is going to be played out.

You don't mind if I add some extra places do you? Since the place has been given a clean slate and all I figured it would be appropriate for the remaining dedicated players to add their own stories, places, history to this RP making it one of the most 'player-based' rps on this site.
