First I want to say that this is not a religious rp or something of that kind. I wanted to make an rp about the afterlife mixed with fantasy. I respect all beliefs.

Purgatory

Between Heaven and Hades is a place called Purgatory. Purgatory is a dimension where the souls of man pass over to receive their final judgment. In this dimension, is a world unlike our own but very similar. A world that consumes all space and is never ending, it is called Alternate Earth.

Depending on the good and evil done in a human’s life, The Creator decides on whether to pass a soul over to the realm of Heaven or release the soul into the depths of the Underworld. For soul’s that The Creator feels worthy of a second chance, they are delivered to Alternate Earth where they are trained by older souls called the Guardians.
Guardians are trained souls that have the ability to traverse between dimensions. They are also tasked with defending the “Real Earth” from souls that have been corrupted by evil. Their main job is to gain favor of the creator so they can pass into the Heaven Realm. When new souls enter Alternate Earth, Guardians are tasked to protect them. Every Guardian is assigned one new soul to protect, teach, and train so they too can become a part of the Guardianship.

The DWELLERS
The Creator has always given his creation the power of “Choice”. Real Earth-Souls can choose whether or not to be guarded by The Guardians. This is not a bad choice because RE-Souls can still gain favor their own way on Alternate Earth. Though this leaves them more susceptible to corruption by the Dwellers, the evil counterparts of The Guardians whose sole purpose is to erupt chaos in the universe. They do not have the ability to traverse between dimensions like The Guardians but are able to possess humans. They use humans as puppets to their bidding and their presence known on Real Earth.

ALTERNATE EARTH
Souls that the Creator feels are not yet worthy of the Heaven Realm but also does not deserve the fate of the realm of Hades reside here. The land of Alternate Earth is a land of pure fantasy (literally). Creatures that were thought to be only myth roam freely. Souls of Giants, Elves, and Dinosaur’s that once existed long ago now reside on Alternate Earth. It is very different from the modern world where the living reigns. The air is cleaner and the grass is greener. There are no cities and streets where cars roam through, but villages and horses that live as one. This land is far from perfect though as the Dwellers plot to destroy the land.

POWER OF THE GUARDIANSHIP
Once a soul gains Guardianship, they begin to develop super human traits and abilities. They’re strength, agility, and senses are enhanced to its peak. Experienced Guardians possess the ability to activate a “Soul Forme”. Soul Forme enables a Guardian to travel through dimensions. Usually the main Dimension traveled to is Real Earth. Other Dimensions do exist but won’t be revealed until later.

Guardians can also use an ability called “Sync”. Syncing is the power to harness part of one’s soul into an energy or element based weapon. From creating fire to morphing a sword, Guardians control the power of spirit.

THE STORY: Your character has died and the Creator does not deem you worthy of the Heaven Realm. However, the Creator sees something in you that doesn’t destined you for the Hades realm either. With that, the Creator sends you to the dimension of Purgatory. When you wake up, you see several people around you. The road to guardianship has started and your afterlife has begun.

BRIEF BIO: Juliana Flowers lived a life of sin, promiscuity, selfishness, and endless desire. The way she lived was a stigma in the land she lived in, the United States, however it brought her everything that she needed and could ever want. She was able to provide for her children, while having no secondary education, and she was able to give to the world and community. Her occupation was wrong, dirty, and selfish and she did everything she could to live lavishly, often in overabundance, however she gave a lot to her children and to those in need. Her gluttony and charity was an incredible contradiction, though she lived the definition of an abnormal life.

Eventually, her employer fell in love with her and became too controlling. She tried to escape, however she only managed to protect her children. The only way to keep them safe was to put them in an orphanage in a different city and start her life on the run, purposely leaving a trail, until he eventually found and kill her.

She is a beautiful woman. She has long brown hair, lush pink lips and a small beauty mark on the right side of her face. She is a good person. She is kind, generous, passionate, and slightly soft hearted. However, she didn't get Purgatory on being such a beautiful and gentle woman. She is greedy, selfish, and has always put herself and her children before anything else. She will always look for an easy way out to doing things the hard way and she has always spurned the divine whenever she came across a terrible problem.

NAME: Diamonte

GENDER: Male

BRIEF BIO: He started off as a human, long long ago. However, he didn't make it long in that world. He was only a few minutes old before he died from physiological complications and he was sent to the great heaven. Basically, he was raised there. Nothing about him warranted his being sent to the Underworld, but he is an unusual male. Despite his eccentric way of thinking, he was exceptionally skilled. He was told, not asked, to become a Guardian and this is really his first time doing it.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Diamonte hasn't been a Guardian for all that long. In fact, he is completely inexperienced with it. He is likely a lot younger than all the other Guardians, but he takes pride in everything he does. Even if others are better than he, there is this endless air of confidence about him. He's proud. Extraordinarily so. Sure, he can admit when he is wrong and that others way of doing things are better, but that doesn't always make him change his ways. To top all that off, he's pushy and gung-ho about his duties and living in general. He does have a very powerful trait. That is that he is completely unable to give up. He puts all his faith in his methods and he will meet every job, duty, task, or mission with all his energy until he meets his end. He has never left something uncompleted and he has no intention to ever do such. It is because of that inhuman dedication that he was well suited for becoming a Guardian. He would do whatever it took to ensure that his assigned individual would wind up in a life that they would enjoy.

Great Valor- His trusty yellow-green staff. It is a long staff with a claw at the tip and a sharp blade at the base which makes it appear like a lance (or a pencil). He keeps that on his back most times. For him, the weapon has the power of Push. The weapon will push away whatever comes into contact with it depending on the will of the user. It can push incredibly large things or scatter them away. The push can scatter things, reject things, or just out right throw things. However, it can only be used on things that it comes into direct contact with and it can be overpowered with enough power/force/energy/mass/size.

For those he has Guardianship over, in their hands they possess the power to push and pull their own bodies. In a sense, it can be seen as great speed, however, they can only do so in a straight line and it takes great practice to control. Any beginner could easily push themselves into a tree or pull themselves too far or too fast. Only those chosen under him can wield this power and only one at a time. Unfortunately, beginners can't control the speed, they can mostly only go extremely fast for long bursts, and they can destroy their legs if they try to run and use the ability together. Moving at an extremely high speed may sound advantageous for a beginner, but it is almost impossible to see what you are about to run into and damage done while moving at a high rate of speed increases the damage. So, to keep them from splattering into walls or shaving away their lower bodies, Diamonte keeps a seal on the weapon that allows hyper speed movement for 15 feet forward and backward and 5 feet to the left and the right. The ability can be used in an instant, though due to the seal placed on it only so many times in a row (one time per post).

BRIEF BIO: Born out of wedlock and merriment Corbin was wafted into the hustling bustling reality of Ajaccio France. An aspiring young college students with hopes and dreams of learning abroad coaxed into drugs, alcohol, and sleazy women. His parents promised his the world, they paid for English lessons, endeavored to pay for his college. They did everything but the sharp tongue of a few hussies derailed everything. They spat him a few cutesy words promising him America and freedom but all they wanted was a good time. Young and eighteen his life could only go up but instead it spiraled into a decaying decent.

From Ajaccio France, the place of his birth he hotel'd from place to place until eventually he made it to Paris. There the womens breast were larger, their curves more vivacious and their promises all the more intriguing. He spent weeks eating scraps from peoples plates, while being dragged by the tie into hotel room after hotel room. He was too intoxicated to complain about the smex, or be mindful enough to watch his wallet. His entire tuition was squandered over the course of a year. All they left him with was a few stomach pumps, and a gross hotel tab in one of three hotels in Paris.

To atone for his dirtiness he was pulled yet again by the tie into many odd jobs. He had to deliver promiscuous packagers here and there. After landing on his feet he got a more stable job as a busboy and started loaning his way through a underrated Paris college. It all came too an end on a stormy night in the back of an alley way. Frisky words here and there and the eye of a few jealous gents caused him his life. He was clubbed to death in an alley way because people thought he was holding out on them to pay for college....

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Corbin is a robust young man with flowing dirty blonde hair. He has milky white skin, piercing blue eyes, and plump lips. He has a pretty distinct French bone structure and a forked tongue to match. Before ascending Corbin was fairly kind, polite, naive, with an incredibly low amount of self esteem. He was a virgin at heart doomed to be one forever because of his shy, humbled disposition. Since ascending Corbins still as shy as ever, polite as a gem, and he has a bit more self esteem. He's developed a somewhat impish personality, a hard head, and swift tongue. He's still a real pushover but he holds the ability to overcome any physical task warranted of him. He's surprisingly strong, dutiful, and willing to go the extra mile without being asked.

BRIEF BIO: Beget from a pair of adolescent teenagers is one Damini Radhika. Her mother was a fair skinned Indian, and father a white male born and raised in New York. Their early smex wafted her into a time of discovery and mischief. She circumnavigated New York monthly in and out of science labs reading seismographs and charting tectonic plates. Her early death was prompted by an experiment gone wrong. She was trying to test whether earthquakes were simply a delayed reaction from lightning strikes on the ground. To test her theory she went out into the field with a wire coat hanger during a storm. Instead of striking the coat hanger it hit the brass key tied around her neck. The lightning punched a hole right through her sternum.

After ascending she looked back on her life wondering exactly why she had gone out that day wearing that key. She wanted to blame others but her guardian wouldn't have that at all. He was a shaky man with the ability to shake and vibrate molecules. He was so proficient that he could even walk through walls and structures at times. Though his loud voice and demanding tones hardened her into the guardian she is today.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Damini is a slim, thick skinned honed warrior. She's a refined masterpiece of beauty and muscle all wrapped neatly into a tan shell. She has daring red hair and illustrious hazel colored eyes. Damini is loud, rowdy, rambunctious and tomboyish in every way. Her voice is even a bit deeper, even firm some like to say. She's a hardass because she's sensitive and curious. She's somewhat of a masochist, that enjoys pain occasionally. Deep down she hides the past Damini, the inquisitive, cutesy, shallow, suck up....

SYNC FOCUS: Earth, Tremors, Vibrations

Devourista: Damini swallowed a bronze key when she died and somehow it got embedded into lining of her stomach. In a simpler since she can eat anything without having to deal with any negative side effects. Rather her stomach is endlessly churning whatever she eats into a thick earthy slime. Her saliva is brown and becomes pebbles whenever it hits the ground. If she were to spit a lugi, or a wad it would splat on the ground then become a large rock composed of many minerals. For a short time whatever she's eaten will be mixed into her thick saliva and usable. Say she ate flames then her saliva will behave much like lava and will harden into coal once its out of her body.

Magnus: Damini is capable of secreting her thick bodily fluids out onto her arms or legs. Therein the fluids will harden into rock around her arms and legs. Using her previous found knowledge whenever she creates a small vibration she can amplify it and make it much worse. A simple step can split open the ground, she can shake even the air with loud yelling. She can produce a tremor, vibration, on anything and everything though there has to be an existing version aforementioned factors. This is equivalent to giving anything and everything a personal earthquake in which it breaks itself down at the molecular level. Fluids, Gases, and Air can only be perturbed but nothing serious will remain.   

Disciples Abilities/Traits
Her disciples will find that their bodies will get harder over time and that they'll be able to shake the world around them. Some carelessly cause massive earthquakes throughout the other earth, and some even get themselves stuck in walls. More advanced disciples will be able to assimilate earth around their arms and legs.

NAME: Galen McCall
AGE: 24
GENDER: Male
BRIEF BIO: Born in the City of Angels, Galen lived a fast life. He was the lead singer of an up and coming rock band called “Deoxy”. It seemed he was destined for greatness. It wasn’t till Galen was introduced to cocaine at 18 and started to use it more and more as he became older. As the addiction got worse his band mates decided to vote him out of the group. This didn’t help at all and he quickly spiraled down to rock bottom.
Losing contact with family and friends, he attempted to stay at a shelter until he found out that most of the homeless people there had addictions also. After being approached by a pastor, he was determined to turn his life around. The Pastor allowed him to live with his family until he got on his feet. Everything seemed to be going well until after a night of Church Service, he was mugged on his way home. He tried to defend himself but was shot in the chest. He died hours later.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Before Galen's drug breakdown, Galen was confident and cocky in nature. He embraced this because this went along with his rock band persona. When he the pastor his whole attitude on life changed and he tried to figure out what was his place in the world.

NAME: Kyria (Last Name Unknown)
AGE: 122 (Died when she was 17)
GENDER: Female
BRIEF BIO: Kyria was a normal girl with great friends and came from a loving family. She dreamed of being a fitness instructor as she had a love for athletics. She was on the cheerleader squad and even took up gymnastics. The latter would push her to her fate.
When practicing backflips for an upcoming competition, Kryia lost her balance and fell backwards on her neck causing her heart to stop beating. It was a quick death. She entered Alternate Earth for unknown reasons and was trained by a powerful Guardian named Taimul. He gained favor of the creator and allowed to ascend to the Heaven realm.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Kyria is a calm and quiet Guardian. She only voices concern or opinion when she feels it highly needed. Even though she has trained many souls, she doesn't act like a mentor and uses a different method of training than other Guardians. Instead of teaching Soul Forme and Syncing directly to her students, she has them suffer first.

She does this so her trainees can learn how to activate their syncing ability on their own.



SYNC FOCUS: Solar Flight & Solar Tips

Solar Flight- Even though Guardians can levitate and fly while on Real Earth, they do not possess the same abilities in Alternate Earth. Skilled Guardians who have been trained and learned to Sync enough of their soul can use Solar Flight. This technique creates a golden aura around the user which allows Kyria to fly and travel at Mach Speeds.

Solar Tips- since Kryia focuses on hand to hand combat, she is able to harness soul energy and focus it into her hands. This creates an effect that causes her fingernails to glow golden bright. This warns her enemies that her ability has activated.

Brief Bio: As one could assume, simply by her name, Leilani was born in Hawaii. A young girl living in a beach house, Leilani got all the chances to enjoy the ocean, except... she had an irritational fear of the massive ocean waiting to devour her. Leilani had plans for her . She wanted to become marine biologist; ocean life had enamored her. In a acrimonious twist of fate, Leilani fell into the ocean during an intership during college. Sadly for Leilani, no one was around. Drowning wasn't too bad. Leilani was sure she had lot conciousness before dying...

Character Description:

Personality: With her fear to the side, Leilani was a very sangfroid person. Easy going... she always lived one day at a time, enjoying the joys in each second. A risky person, Leilani loved trying new foods and people. Life was a party; however, she understood that life was serious.

BRIEF BIO: Born in the slums of Russia in 1975 , Damian had a very "busy" life. School, gangs, murders, and drugs. Really, no matter how cliche it was, Damian couldn't wait to be move as far away as he could. Maybe he'd move to America... Somewhere in the country... A little farm... no people for miles... Now that would be the life. Instead, Damian ended up being a teenager during a horrid time for crime. Murders, muggings, and drugs danced around the street like a demented children's song: Ring Around The Rosie or maybe it was more like... Baby in the Tree Top.

Either way, no one could really blame Damyan when, during his eight grade year, he befriended someone with power... A junior that lead a well-known gang. Somewhere, Damyan doesn't exactly remember how, their relationship changed. During the summer before he went to high school, Damyan was initated into the gang. He... actually had no desire to be in the gang, it just sort of happened. His smiling friend showed up, with a group of rough-looking people... Looking back on it, Damyan wished he would have died that night.

Instead, his freshman year his grades dropped to shaky D's and he always had time for a quick hit from a joint conviently placed in the pocket of a hoodie or his backpack. Eventually, he began doing gang activites. Of course, this was only because his demagogue of a friend controled his life. A life dictated by: 'If you really love me, you'll do this'. The life spirling into a vask horror, didn't take much longer. Dubbed as an Achilles' Heel, Damyan was stopped by a rivaling gang and a series of lurid horrors ended his short life.



Character Description:

Personality: While alive, Damyan used to be a pushover. Anyone could easily coerce him into doing something, especially his loved ones. A phantom of that subservient trait lingers. Since dying, Damyan has become a silent, vexatious person. He isn't the most joyful person to hang around, simply because he can go into absentminded, depressing rambles. He could lay down in the grass, just staring into the vast nothingness of the pseudo sky forever.

Sync Focus: Fire and Mental

Blaze: Blaze is completely mental. Once catching someone's eyesight for ten seconds, Damian is able to create an illusive feeling of being of spontaneously combusting.

Flash: Damian claps, holding his hands for a few seconds, and a flash is created... blinding people within ten feet of him.

Volcano: Damian opens his mouth and can spit out lava. The lava doesn't have much range but, when he's ticked off or hiccuping, someone probably doesn't want to stand too close to him.

New Soul

NAME: Ben Weatherford
AGE: 18
GENDER: Male

BRIEF BIO: Born and raised as a rich man's son. The way he was taught to treat others was simply horrible, but his father's word was law. 'Those who are poorer than you are beneath you. Trash who cannot hope to live up to your worth'; that is what was drilled into his head. Though Ben disliked treating people like that, he was forced to live that way. Every so often, he would sneak a helping hand to those in need, but once his father was watching, he'd snatch that hand away. Well, some people are in so much need for help they will do anything to get it. A stranger from the street was one of those people, but his form of 'help' was to steal from the rich, and give to...himself. Unfortunately, the 'rich' in this story was Ben and his father, who were shot dead on a scummy street after leaving a nice, fancy restaurant. At least he got a good supper before he died.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: Free from his father's dreadful watch, Ben is a much happier person. He will gladly help those in need, though in the back of his mind he still has the tendencies of a money-hungry person. In fact, he will often catch himself being greedy and will try to stop himself.

NAME: Alv Venil

GENDER: Female

BRIEF BIO: Alv lived a very short life, but it was one of fun. Well, fun for her, maybe. Five years after her, Alv's mother gave birth to another little girl. Alv's baby sister. Well, she was extremely overprotective of the girl, due to the fact that her baby sister was born with several health problems. So, Alv learned to be careful around her sister, but babies were never careful! Alv had to save her sister from herself, meaning Alv was on a 24-hour watch of her sister. She'd save her from bugs, stop her from falling, even attack animals that got too close. Well, Alv's overprotective personality grew to the point were she became violent towards anything or anyone that came close to her sister, and there lies the reason for her summons to Purgatory. She was killed protecting her sister from a neighbor's dog...but where did that leave her? She had hurt plenty of things, harmless or not, in attempt to protect her sister, but some of her violent outbursts were uncalled for and very overboard.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTION: If a single word were to describe Alv, it would be Overprotective. In her Guardianship, she has an overly caring persona with her apprentices, being more of a motherly figure than an actual teacher. In fact, some say she is far too protective, spoiling and babying those she is Guarding. Alv will even go so far as to kill someone just for having negative intentions, or even being negative in general.

SYNC FOCUS: Metal Manipulation

Materialization: Alv is capable of pulling the various metal ores from the earth. That is the basis of her abilities. By gathering these ores, she can mold them together and create basically anything she wants. If there is enough metal ore, she can form any shape or creation that comes to her imagination. Mainly, however, she is seen manifesting bladed weapons of varying types like broadswords, knives, rapiers, cleavers, spears, etc. Her secondary favorite would be the materialization of chains, either attached to these weapons, or separately.

She seems to have a telekinetic connection to these blades, capable of using a small number of them without physical contact. Because her physical strength is lacking, she will use the telekinetic connection to fight instead. However, use of too many blades puts more and more mental stress on Alv, slowing her reaction and fighting skills, restricting her to a small number.

NAME: Lucas Kahail

AGE: 17 at death

GENDER: Male

BRIEF BIO: A rather interesting person who, when alive, could see far beyond the normal constraints of the world and into other worlds. As a child his parents mistook it for imagination, however as he grew older they started to worry and made him stop talking about it. Being the smart little tyke that he was he picked up on their dissatisfaction and simply stopped talking about the strange worlds he could see. Growing older he started to develop his power so that he could turn it on and off whenever he wanted, and even roam the realms.

Though he got excellent grades and maintained a healthy group of casual friends he was soon distancing himself more and more from the real world. By the time he was in high school he didn't have one real friend, and though everyone thought he was a cheerful and happy guy he no longer had any interest in the real world. He found the world to be horrid and other people to be shallow and dull. Eventually he was forced to think about what he wanted to do with the rest of his time in this world, and deciding he didn't want to be here any longer, shot himself.

Some time later he awoke in purgatory and quickly worked his way into being a guardian. Though he likes the world in general he doesn't care much for people, though he is excellent at handling them. Although he is pessimistic about a lot of things he is an expert at finding ways to entertain himself and others, and is usually pretty happy.

SYNC FOCUS: Transmigration

Heavens and Earth - Two matching pistols save for their inverse color. One is black with a gold strip down the barrel, a gold trigger, and a gold band around the bottom. The other is white where the first is black and silver where it is gold. The guns are constructs themselves, however they have the ability to absorb and transform surrounding radiation into physical matter in the shape of bullets. Upon hitting something the bullets will revert to the form of energy all at once, usually in a violent manner.

Glory and Grace - The ability to convert large amounts of energy into smaller amounts of specialized matter by touching it. The matter takes the form of a blueish metal and is easily as hard as steel, and its shape is dependent on what Lucas wants them to be when forming them. Like with the bullets he can revert these objects back to energy at will, usually creating a violent output of energy equal to the contents used in the object's construction.

Beginning and End *sealed* - The ability to turn matter into energy, when used this ability can be quite devastating. It wont work on soul forms, which lack actual matter, but the resulting eruption of energy should not be underestimated. If used recklessly this ability will lead to the destruction of the user and many others around him, for that reason it has been sealed off.

AGE: 16 at death

GENDER: Male

BRIEF BIO: If one had to describe him it would be as a normal person who met unfortunate circumstances. He, for the first fourteen years of his life, lived a normal life. However one day he caught the attention of the wrong crowd when he got into a fight with a somewhat wretched and despicable teacher. The teacher persuaded a classmate of his to fabricate an attack from the student and with a few posed photos John's reputation was shot.

He was suspended for a year and his reputation was shot. Almost instantly all of his friends and family abandoned him, and he was left to wallow in solitude. This made him not only bitter but somewhat introverted, thinking that he didn't need people who would just abandon him or betray him he shut himself off from the world around him. Eventually he changed schools but didn't make any attempt to make new friends, and even went as far as to reject advances from others who wanted to be his friends.

Like this he lived the next two years of his life, closed off from the world. Maintaining his sealed off world meant that he didn't interact with others more than the bare minimum, so naturally his record is pretty flat lined. Strangely enough he was randomly shot by someone, though doesn't remember it clearly at all. When he awoke he was in Purgatory.
