*O* .................it's like acid. <3

Regardless, I love the focal point on the butterfly, and the surrounding thin branches with their detailed buds makes it look otherworldly and fantastic. <3 At the same time, I feel like it's missing a clean edge somewhere. It's a lot of information to take in visually, so the mind can be a bit overwhelmed.

Took an amazing drive today, a primitive road. (doesn't mean dinosaurs just means its unpaved and not pretty for cars) They often lead to the best views you can find in this great state of Arizona. Full of bumps and rocks, our Kia Sorento is 2wd but did fine short of a bit of a muddy area near the start of the road. It begins just south of snowy flagstaff, but ends up in the red rocks of Sedona.

This was I think my favorite picture of the entire trip, which was amazing from start to end.

It still amazes me that we can travel less than an hour to places every single weekend off, amazing like this, for the year and a half I've lived here. I even had a few other drives as options. Glad I picked this one for today. One more snow of the season and we'd have needed 4wd to get through the mud on the Flagstaff side of things. At some point they close the road, which I'm sure isn't far away.

If you dig that, add me on facebook. I have a ton of pics on there until I get setup with a better image host.

Thank you!

When the sun does this at the end of the day, the people that live down in the valley call it "the golden hour".

One more, IN my home. My bedroom window to be exact. Learning this new method HDR. High Dynamic range.

The image before uploading is nearly 18mb, so on photobucket, its not going to look as good.
