"In a world where dead people turn into books and are stored in the Bantorra Library where anyone who reads a book can learn their past. Bantorra Library is maintained by Armed Librarians who wield psychic powers and their enemy is a religious society known as Sindeki Kyoudan."
That's the summary of Tatakau Shisho. At first glance, it may seem like the other crazy themed title. However watching the first episode really changed my mind. This series is outstanding, with a new idea like crystallizing one's memory into 'books' after death. Also the notion of introducing 'meat' (suicide kamikaze human-flesh-bomber) really makes this title gruesome and interesting at the same time. Another aspect worth mentioning is the dynamic interaction between the characters of the series especially Volken and Mirepoc. My fav character is Volken.( a person with strong sense of justice) as shown in the pic below. Episodes 3 and 4 saw the fierce battle between the protagonist, Armed Librarians and the antagonist religious sect Sindeki Kyoudan. Hamyuts Messeta is the director of the Librarians and strongest among them too. (pic below) I bet this is one title worth getting attentions of all anime fans. You can watch it at Crunchyroll Simulcast (for US netizens) Sorry for non-US netizens, but there's another workaround. See http://persona2007.wetpaint.com/page/Use+U...urf+anonymously Thanks for reading. This post has been edited by Kinyoto on 2009-11-17, 11:01 AM -------------------
