Since they changed the series, do you now have a different favorite character? Everyone is portrayed a little bit different at least. Personally, Envy is a little bit more standable, he was kind of annoying in the first anime. And I have grown to love Alphonse in the new anime...

I like Ling.

Then again, I've always liked Ling. It was disappointing to realize he wouldn't be in the first anime adaptation. I'm glad he's in this one this time around, though.

Ling appeared in the FMA manga at about chapter 30 something, so he was in it before the original anime series was finished.

I'd also say Ling is my favorite, but that's just because he and Greed make a great pair in the manga.

Agreed Ling is the best. I was very disappointed in the first anime because he did not exist. But Edward is still my favorite. Who can't love Paku Romi?
