I like the amount of detail you put in, although proportions could use a little work. and the mechanics of that knife... you put a lot of work and specifics into that...
Awesome. just awesome

I agree with the above comments, hands are very hard to draw, your hands just need very little improvement, they look nice already. One thing I do to check my proportions is to either flip the picture when using a computer program, or view the paper from behind with a light source infront, you could catch most mistakes this way.

Not too positive about this but take it as you may: not so great in proportion but the effort is there. I dunno if that necessarily redeems the entire piece but I mean these things take time.

Definitely work on the hands, remember to try and keep hand to face sizes proportionate (if you don't know what I mean you'll probably wanna look that up; I can try and find a link that explains it better than I can though lol). Watch the body and leg proportions too. Of course this varies with style, however even separate styles have a size ratio to them too. It's pretty simple. Not even the greatest amount of effort can salvage that but lol we won't dwell on that too much.

The chin curve looks a little off from the neck but that is also something that gets a little hard getting used to. I wouldn't go saying it's "awesome" just yet but there's not much to bag on otherwise. I'm not ever too much of a fan of showing off "character compilations" so try adding in some background or putting a scenario to it an then post some stuff. I wanna see how you integrate that before I make any real critiques. Just watch how your body parts stand in ratio to each other and you should improve a little bit. Keep up the effort!

I know there's a system dude and it's definitely out there. Check the drawing section of ask.com. They seem to have quite a bit of crap on there for being one of those blogging info sites.

When drawing arms, remember that finger tips do not extend past mid thigh. Keeping that proportion in mind helps when you're changing the position of the arm.

You put a lot of thought into your drawings, obviously and with time you will only improve. Your own style and technique will develop and later you'll look back and think about your first efforts.

I would take special consideration when doing proportions. Watching and looking at real people as they walk and move about will help you notice things that you can transfer into your drawings. Also, knowing body parts and measurements of average people might help you notice some of your own flaws. A thigh is typically so many inches in length compared to the calf. Or which muscles show most definition in certain poses.

Sorry if this confuses you. I am having a hard time translating my thought process into a good explanation. ^^;

The waist tapers off rather drastically and the hips go in even further. It's the only instant thing I notice. The arm length is better, though.

What did you use for the sketch? That pencil looks a bit harsh. You can get a good set of sketching pencils at Micheals Arts and Crafts for cheap. They are different shades and really help when detailing with shadow and sketching before inking your work in.

Oh. My old art teacher told me that if you look at your work upside down, you can see the areas that need improvement. It's weird, I know. But when I sketched figures it actually did help me notice things.
