I like anime, manga, and many things japanese but I tend to avoid anime cons. They are really over crowded and you can barely move around with all the people who want to stop and take photos. Then the vendors aren't the most helpful of people. If you haven't seen a show they tend to give you that really look.
I go comic book conventions. People are much cooler there. So after that long narrative, 2. I have been to 2 anime cons. |

One Sakura Con
One Anime Weekend Atlanta One Kumoricon and part of Durham NC's con, which sucked. So I'd say 4.25 cons. Sakura con and Kumoricon were by far the best ones. -------------------

I went to my first con last year, which was Tsubasacon '09. It's a relatively small con, but it isn't a minicon either. I had a lot of fun and everyone was really nice. There was a lot of hugging going on, which kinda freaked me out at first, but then I got a hug from a heartless and felt fuzzy the rest of the day. -------------------
