Probably only chose him because of Bleach. <.< They talk about souls all the time.
The problem is that Soul has some grind to his voice. Johnny does not. They might as well have chosen Piccolo's voice ac.... Oh God, who is he playing? PLEASE DON'T LET IT BE SID. -------------------

Wasn't like the Japanese voice actor they got to do Soul sounded right in the first place. I don't know too many teenagers who speak as deeply as Barry White, but Soul was one of them. -------------------

I respect Johnny enough to give it a shot. He doesn't suck and at least he can put some emotion and variation into his voice. Dubs used to lack feeling and now we're more concerned about getting them matched to the Japanese actors.
I say we've gotten pretty far ahead in the voice acting. We get quality now and I guess I can be pretty content with that. -------------------

Seeing as how Michelle Ruff did the voices of Chobits' Chi, Code Geass' Euphemia, and Disgea's Etna, I think she's more than qualified and talented enough to be in Soul Eater.
I anticipate her being Blair or any other female adult. I also expect to see Luci Christian and Monica Rial. -------------------

Nah, it'll be Chrispan Freeman. Srsy, the dude did ORANGE-KUUUN in Code Geass's dub, and he rocked. Vic will be Justin Freakin' Christ. It'll be win for sure. -------------------

they say people mistook his voice for Johnny Yong Bosch.  |
