KAF Radio isn't really up yet, but you can help test to see if it works.

It's currently usually on a short (est. 23 hours) playlist, but occasionally there are DJs who sign in (displayed at the top on the network bar).

Windows Media Player:iTunes:Winamp, VLC, Amarok, etc.:NOTE: Report any problems!

---

Edit: Since, you're all complaining, I'm hijacking this thread and taking request so you can all stop your blasted whining and moaning. Remember people... THE RADIO IS FOR EVERYONE NOT JUST YOU. Anyways, enough raging. Lists the songs or tracks you want in a COLLAPSE tag. And, someone will get on it.

WHO EDITED MY POST?!

That should be a pretty good list, and a bit of a mix of genres.

hmmm I'll probably post my requests later, but imma post a review.

its nice that we have a radio, plus we get djs too--not sure wat they're supposed to do though. Anyways, I noticed that the audio quality is kinda low. Not really a problem and I don't know the reason but hopefully we will be able to provide better quality in the future. If not, theres no big deal as music is music.

oh, for my songs...

Artists:
-Hearts Grow
-NIRGILIS (is that how you spell it?)
-Asian Kung Fu Generation

For some reason, it won't show the song/artist I'm playing, I don't really get why since all the settings for Nicecast are good and it shows the songs inside Nicecast.

The current song lineup is pretty good. Although it'd be nice to include the song/artist name somehow; like, say, a DJ announcing what song is playing, or whatever. I've heard a few pieces that sound awesome, but since I have no idea what the name of the songs are, I can't get my hands on them.

Click above for some random junk. Thanks to someone for the Sig/avi set. Sorry, I've got too many of these things to effectively keep track of all their creators. ><

I will try to work on that, don't forget though, that sometimes we are not present near the computer so that we can not announce it. But, I'll do my best~

You can of course always come to the IRC, the broadcasters are on there mostly while they're broadcasting, so you can just ask them.

What stream are you using? Since the AAC+ stream tells you what songs you're listening to. Also, as for what songs the DJs are playing it's on the network bar.

Both streams do. It depends on how un-crappy your media player is.

Also, if Darkuser is streaming, then you won't see titles. He is having trouble with that at the moment. It will at least say "Live program/Unknown track" though.

You can always check to see if your media player is being crappy or not by checking the KAF Radio site, which displays the titles:

yea, i used windows media player but I have yet to try winamp

EDIT: Oh, so it was the media player... hmmm... my bad. I think the anime radio is going good then. my Winamp player gives me good quality. Why does the Windows one give me such a bad quality?

You need this:
http://www.orban.com/plugin/

To play the HE-AAC stream. WMP doesn't support HE-AAC out of the box, and so it will play the MP3 stream, but MP3 is a dated format.

Well, according to other Windows Vista users, the Orban AAC plugin doesn't work on WMP 11, which is what is currently on the computer I'm working from.

Until a newer edition of Orban comes out for WMP 11, I won't be able to listen to the radio here.

It's sad, really. I was really looking forward to it.
