Funimation is making me angry, they take forever to put an up-to-date episode up, I just say episode 15, Ling is how I sorta imagined. >: I'm waiting for the more hardcore parts later with him though....

I started to (really) watch the series from the episode 15, when the storyline differs from the first show. Didn't read the manga. Should, trough... Later. Or maybe I'll just watch the anime.

You know what I find hilarious? I'm watching this with Sai, and she SERIOUSLY thinks Roy killed her. I'm laughing on the inside, especially since she saw the FIRST series. I mean, c'mon....

I actually do like it. It seems more involving than the first and there are like no fillers. It is way more manga oriented which is how all animes should be.

This episode came off as "too much backstory, not enough here and now". Honestly, why tease us with the OMG Wrath and Ninjas, when 95% of the episode is flashback and story fillings?

I'm up to date on the manga, yes. And I'm not saying it wasn't following the manga's story. I'm just saying the order of which the information was presented seemed a little off.
