So what do you think of the manga / anime Meitantei Conan / Detective Conan / Case Closed ?

I love mysteries, and the characters are very vivid when you get to a story rounding chapter. For the most part, to me, the off topic stories with in, that are just murder mysteries, really give that real life quality of Shinichi (jimmy) / Conan waiting for new information about the Black Organization / syndicate. I mean its not like those other manga that skip months every other chapter to get to the ending faster. Gosho Aoyama really takes the time to make you wait !! With a series as long as 64 volumes in japan he sure knows how to keep readers interested.

I like this series (especially the manga), but I think it's really too long... each episode is full of mysteries and wit but really there are too many fillers... I think I'd enjoy a shorter series more! Bt the soundtrack is really awesome!

I like the manga and the tv fillers (its the only show I'll admit to liking fillers in)
I stay up to current edition in american manga / anime, and the japanese manga
64 volumes in japan ! I can't wait for the american versions (no matter how badly translated)

Its easier to take each mystery as its own story, like Sherlock Holmes.

Waaaaaay too long. I lost interest after around Chapter 200 and there's supposedly still 400+ chapters to go. Yeah, no way I'm wasting that much time when there is little to nothing interesting going on.
