As the first vote I would like to vote #2. Though small it is bright and colorful. It catches attention and maintains it. I like very much. Though I don't think I like the white lettering soo much but outside of that very well. -------------------

Personally I'm gunna vote for 6. The usage of the color scheme is amazing, adding a focal point to the eyes. Which most of the other ones don't show at all. -------------------

My vote is on #6 The use of colors is really neat, I like how the eyes stand out. The background editing also looks amazing and fits well with the picture. -------------------

Goddamn! We've got a good one this time! I honestly like all of them. #2 GMV. It's got that old-school pixely kind of feel. It really brings all the colors out and doesn't hide anything. -------------------

Here I go now... 1. A bit too plain, I like how it comes out of the signature, but just monotone colors/black and white + gray, it works with the sig, but I don't really like it. :/ Good try though. 2. This one is all right, I just don't like the light blue spot on her right shoulder, the colors go well, but I don't really like the mixture. The text fits fine, and the yellow sparkles go well. Good job. 3. Monotone... I think or something like that. But anyway, this is a great signature! I personally don't like the blood splatter in the left bottom corner, I like the little sparkles coming out of the barrel of the gun. Good sig, I like it. 4. Bright and Colorful... Huh, good mixture, anyway, it's a good signature, I like it, I also believe that text on this one would have either not done anything, or threw it off. Good job. 5. The colors on this one match well, I just don't see a point of lighting though... But that's okay I guess, it's a good signature overall, the text fits fine, great job. 6. This signature is really well made, it blends well, it's looking good. The background smudging is good, and the border fits well too, it's amazing. 7. Green and blue~ I love those colors, but it doesn't really fit with this stock... Blending is all right, it's a good signature overall, just the text in my opinion throws it off, but still it's good. 8. Bright and Colorful again... Anyway, it's a good signature, text fits well, I just don't like the line of color over the face that much... but I guess it's for lighting. Anyway, good job. 9. I like the effects on this one, the signature is well made, and the stock fits perfectly, as well as the text. Except, it's kind of all over the place! I like it, but it's just all over. Good job though. #6 GMV. -------------------

1 and 3 really stand out to me. I really like the subject matter and the border cross of 1, but it's a bit rough in some parts, and there needs to be something more, like a quote to hint at what's being expressed. 3 really has the subtlety and strength I like in sigs, and it has enough to the image that the expression is clear, though I still think it would benefit from text and a simple border. Between the two, despite the rough parts, I think 1 handles its edge better and is a more intriguing selection. 6 I almost considered, for the reasons others have mentioned, but it lacks the subtlety and I'm not clear on what it's trying to convey. 1 gets my vote. -------------------

I'm going to agree with Mel here and go with #1. It's not anime-themed, nor does it even have a character, but rather an object to focus on. I like that uniqueness, and amongst the others, to me it personally stands out the most. How it leaves the frame is also appealing, as does the black-white-gray color scheme (I'm a sucker for that kinda stuff as it is). Elegance in simplicity, that's how I like 'em. So yeah, my vote goes to 1. -------------------

I vote for 3 The color is nice because it suits it. The lighting is nice as well and matches the stock, It also makes the color look good. The blending is done very well in the background. The stock is clear well placed. The light thing, at the end of the gun looks really cool too and the blood is done very well, and also looks very nice. I just really like this sig in general, its very well done ^__^ -------------------
Thanks to Mizu for the beautiful set <3 I Love Uki ~Nyappy~ |

1# I love it's simplicity and power :] There are some un-cutted pieces and choppy fragments ;/ And it's too big for a normal sig ;/ 2# Very messy and choppy ;/ The background could use a bit more care and attention ;/ 3# Kinda plain and the colors are a little flat ;/ #4 Very nice sig :] Blend is very good and the colours are flowing :] Could use a text :] #5 It's good ,but it could use some pixel smoothing :] #6 Really nice sig :] I like the side effects and this guy's eyes :] #7 The background doesn't match with the render ;/ Even so it doesn't seem to be finished ? It looks like dropped in the midle of work ;p Text could use some work here also ;/ Yet the blend doesn't rescue this sig ;/ #8 I like the light source and colour mixing... but the background is empty ;/ #9 I really like the hard smooth-out effect from the render :] Text is also good :] Darking up the upper edges a bit could be useful :] Hard choice... #4 , #6 or #9 ;/ OK 9# gets my vote :] This post has been edited by Inuyasha's BAMF Friend on 6 September 2008, 06:04 PM |

DW COMES BACK~! Alrighty, enough with my spamming. I gotta say... this week's SOTW isn't as good as last time. :x My vote goes for #4 because I like the smoothness and the blending of colors. The other ones either have too much work on the background, the ripples are much too visible, or some are smoothly done but the colors are.... :[ (I didn't explain all of them! D< ) #4 for meh, woot. -------------------

Honestly, I just love #6. It's the contrast between the bland setting and the deepness of his eyes that just draw me in. It's like he's staring into the sins within my soul... and I kinda like it. o.o Vote: #6 EDIT: For IBF: D< This post has been edited by Spyder Pyresphere on 8 September 2008, 10:37 AM -------------------

#1 gets my vote. I find the fact that the system itself overlaps the background appealing, plus the fact that I see its simplicity as its strongest point. The cogs retain their details well over the editing too, which is a plus-- so yeah, numbah 1 gets my vote~ -------------------

While everything is great here, my vote has to be for #6. It has the most interesting look, and the way the eyes stand out works perfectly. -------------------
