For me, it's a tie between Persona 3 FES and Persona 4.
Both games are so enchanting, that you will find yourself sitting in front of your television for hours on end, not noticing anything around you. I really have to get back into them at some point. |

The entire and continuing devil may cry series is the best for me, the story in 3 was epic, along with the length of the game itself, best game i've ever played story and gameplay wise, i just wish they'd bring vergil back though. -------------------

Favorite game? Mine would be Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon for the Nintendo 64.
When I was a kid, I grew up loving side-scrolling games like Vectorman, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Double Dragon. I got a Nintendo 64 a little late, and the guy at the store recommended Mystical Ninja 64. Knowing that many people made their leap into 3D with Mario or Link, I'm glad I made mine with Goemon. Everything at the time stood out to me as brilliant fun. Link couldn't even jump and Mario had to hop into portraits to get where he wanted to. The world seemed seamless and endless in comparison. I had so much fun going back and forth and listening to the top notch soundtrack along the way. The game even had Ichiro Mizuki singing the theme for your giant robot! It didn't get any better than that. -------------------

Too many to pick from. Probably Kingdom Hearts, as it was the first game I went crazy for. Albeit, there are too many games that I like. I probably spent a lot of time on CS:S as well. My current favorites though are Rock Band 2 and Gears. Only game I really spend time playing recently. -------------------

Live topic, Live.
Though I am not much of an video game player there are an few I enjoy playing. On my Gameboy SP: Spyro and this Pokemon game my brother brought home it's addictive. Nintendo 64: Goldeneye 007 <---Best multiplayer game I have ever played. And again with an Pokemon game. Pokemon Stadium. Ahhh good times. Super Nintendo: Yoshi's Island and any other Mario game. I would put Zelda down but, the only one that doesn't irriate me is the Twilight Princess for Wii....though I haven't gotten very far on it. Stupid intricate puzzles. Though recently I was teased by an friend with God of War....I liked it. A Lot. -------------------

I have had many fun times with original Kirby for Gameboy Color. :3
However, I devoted like 3 years of my life to loving Kingdom Hearts, even though I now realize its graphics and stuff were kinda lame...It was my first PS2 game. I only have about 10 games as it is now though. |

Well, I've given it some consideration, and, I've decided on multiple shooter games, since, that's really all I play.
Halo's 1-3: These games paved the way for what a successful console FPS should be - before Halo, the PC was considered the only platform that could do one successfully. Despite all the hate surrounding these games, and the admittedly mostly retarded fanbase, I think these games are some of the best ones out there. Gears of War 1&2: Kill.Switch did it first, but Gears of War really made the "stop 'n pop" style of shooter fun and mainstream. It's no surprise almost everyone and their brother now implements hiding behind walls, mailboxes, and the odd couch in their third-person shooters. Half-Life (all of them, past and future): Proved FPS's could have deep and satisfying narratives, as well as being killer-good. Paper Mario: Not a shooter, but it's really, really god. |
