don't change your votes, its his fault he used a bad render, if the sig suffered for it, then fine, but don't take back a vote just because he blames it on the render. Sorry amatsu, but picking a proper picture is part of your skill in my book, why not just use a stock with her face in it? I will admit that his skill might be higher, but from the piece he did; I just cant tell.

They're allowed to, don't pick on them for changing their votes, it's a free battle, not a vote upon worlds.

Secondly, I used that render since the main text I had was "Alone" hence her face not being shown, and her light be the only one shown in the sig, instead of having the entire piece colored.

It's your choice really. If you see me as bad in your book. Fine.

What I am saying is; If you are good, but you chose a bad stock, then the product will be worse. If you had went ahead and used a clear visible stock, it would've increased in quality. Also, the lack of a face removes the ever important "focal point" factor, forcing you to make your own, which is.... difficult to make work well without the main center of light in your stock. Honestly, I am not calling you bad, I am saying that just because your piece isn't as good as your skill, that doesn't mean that you should be voted for based on the piece you COULD'VE made, you should be voted for because of the piece you DID make. And the piece that you did make is unclear, weather it is your fault, or the stocks.

You know what, forget it, just enjoy your victory, and forget that I exist. And I am ALWAYS open for a battle if you want one.

Ama, that was just a bad pic to use, part of the hair is very distracting.

Principle GMV.

Ama's is good but the stock position makes the whole thing look weird. I couldn't tell what it was until you showed the stock that you used. The sparkles were a nice touch though. Just wished the stock was better placed for it.

Principle's was very well done. The blurry effect he used on the vector in the background gives the sig some depth. The rest of the vectors were placed very well and makes it a good sig all the way around.

Principe GMV on this one...

Ama's piece looks odd because of the stock... at first I was like... 'does she have a plank for a face?' The lighting seems odd also, it's coming from below yet the shadowing on the stock does not obey that lighting source. Technique is there... just the elements that's lacking.

Principe's nice and simple. Color, some depth, some kind of flow... and lighting is very nicely positioned. Typography doesn't match though... and the odd shapes behind Ryu(lower right) is distracting.
