Lenore felt as if she'd been walking for ages when she'd reached the river - again, with several scrapes and a bruises to prove it. She had made a few unexpected turns along the way there, but had memorized her movements through the forest purposefully to make sure she knew how to get back. She had only ended up taking a longer route, unfortunately (or fortunately, though not to her knowledge) which curved around what she thought was the center of the island. Of course, stumbling upon the river was still an immense relief since, where she met the river again in the forest, she found different types of food, growing in the area of the fresh water. Setting her bag down and gathering as much as she could, she soon had enough of some familiar types of fruits coupled with what she assumed was some sort of fruit to last for a while. Maybe a few days, even the week if she was sparing. But she wouldn't be there that long - surely not! Even so, she didn't particularly like the idea of making the journey from her shelter again, but now she knew what obstacles she faced along the way (a few small, marsh-like places along the way and snakes, of all things - well, a snake, but it had still scared her, as well as many strange and unfamiliar forest-noises she expected to have shown up in action-adventures through the amazon in movies rather than in real life). Lenore began exploring the surroundings with much caution since, logically, fresh water meant animals. Dangerous animals like...er...elephants and things one didn't find on a cruise ship? Or in a forest, really, but that was beside the point. Arming herself with bag and stick once more, she found herself peering through the underbrush on the small elevation seperating the river, a little ways back from where Lenore had wandered, from a sort of clearing as far as she could see. Climbing over the hillish little protrusion in the ground, she then descended onto flat ground - what appeared to be a very recently cleared large clearing and lake. Lenore's mouth hung open slightly, a puzzled expression washing over her features progressively following her gaze upward. The trees surrounding seemed to have been relieved of their appendages messily and not long ago. "Oh," she said very softly, finally, after a moment more of marveling, and sat back down on a relatively flat-surfaced rock by the lakeside awkwardly, the water of which seemed much colder than it should have been, but that was a less obvious peculiarity about this scene that Lenore was, consequentially, less worried about. Scanning the area carefully, quickly silencing herself completely, Lenore stood slowly. No one and nothing normal or safe tears off random tree branches, right? What could do that? Who could do that? Was it even a who? Wouldn't it be many thems? Why would they do this? What was going on? Some one else knew about the lake. Some one else was living off the fresh water, but by the looks of it, they hadn't survived from the sinking. A thousand more questions ran through Lenore's mind seemingly all at once. She hugged her bag to her chest, comforting herself with her otherwise useless games, about a dozen presently rather squished berries, as well as a few fruits and rocks. The impressive stick-sword lay forgotten on the ground at her feet momentarily. There was a decision to make. Then she suddenly stood, regaining all her bearings and heading off. Stttrrrraight back to camp, making a heck of a lot of noise basically power-walking through brush and small branches, getting a few more cuts and bruises as she made progress little by little, but Lenore was not turning around, she promised herself, until she saw the other side of the river again along with her metal, cloth, and leaf-substance shelter. She thought she could even hear voices in the distance growing fainter as she walked away. Something smelled extremely, dangerously fishy here. Lenore decided she had never liked seafood either anyway. -------------------

'Suddenly the massive cruise ship shutters to a stop and starts to list very slightly to one side. An alarm blares telling passengers to get back to your rooms, get your life preservers and to the emergency stations. Conner turned nonchalantly and headed for his room, which just so happened to be where he was headed anyway. Reaching the door he inserted his key card and grabbed the life vest from under his bed, turning to leave he stopped and grabbed his laptop bag, filled the remainder of the space with a change of clothes for when he was rescued and food from the dry bar; candy, a few rice krispys, a packet or two of cookies, and a few other things, "I don't want to be adrift at sea with nothing to eat," he said to himself and headed for his emergency station. When he reached the area designated he was alone. The extra time he took to get food and clothes must of given them the time to disembark. His calm broke and he looked over the edge to see the last three life boats on this side of the ship just hitting the water, "HEY!! HEY! WHAT ABOUT ME?!?!" he screamed as no one even looked back. Slowly he stepped back to the wall of the ship and slowed his quickening breath, "Calm down Conner, this is no time to panic. Think, think gosh darn it!" Suddenly he turned and headed back for his room. When he reached the door he quickly inserted the key and found everything as he left it. Stuffing some more food into his pockets he grabbed his beds matress and pulled it off and out the door. Next he grabbed the sheets off his and the other bed in the room, although he was the sole occupent, his parents where in a suite down the hall. He started to tie these together and then wrapped it around the handle on the matress. Suddenly the ship listed even farther off center. Thinking quickly he dumped out his trash can and filled it with his laptop bag and the food in his pockets and tied it off strapping that to his pants via a belt loop. Finally ready he headed back to the top of the deck, grabbing some more sheets from a cleaning cart and adding them to his makeshift rope. When he surfaced he found that the ship was falling more and more to the right side, his side. Quickly he pulled his makeshift raft toward the center of the boat, and waited for the water to be as close as possible and tossed the matress over board after tieing it to the railing. Not hearing a splash he looked down to see that the handle heald. "Good," Conner said to himself as he climbed over the edge and grabbed onto the rope of sheets. Slowly, ever so slowly he lowered himself to the matress as the ship continued to shift toward him. If he didn't hurry then he might just end up under the ship! But if he moved to fast then the sheets might come undone and he would fall and be sucked under anyway, he had to move at just the right speed. When he finally reached the matress they were still a good thirty or so feet above the water. While hanging by one hand he yanked the tied handle on the matress hard, hoping to rip it off to no avail. "Not good," he said, and then decided to kick at it, with every passing minute he was brought closer to the water now at about twenty feet. Finally he heard the rip of the handle and saw his begin to fall to the water, at this same moment he let go and did his best to land on top of it. His luck held and he was afloat, not wasting a moment he began to use his arms to paddle himself toward the now distant island, 'This is going to take for ever,' he thought to himself not wasting energy voicing his thoughts, 'but if I make it to the island then i might have a chance.' All of the life boats that had so recently left had already moved away from the ship, if anyone had saw him no one moved to help. Using the waves the sinking ship was making Conner propelledhis raft closer and closer to the island, when the waves died he used his hands. Slowly he made progress, when he finally reached shore it was nightfall and Conner collapsed from exhaustion onto the thoroughly soaked matress and rested. The new breeze brought with it the smell of rotting eggs, bringing Conner back to the present. Whether he slept at all that night he couldn't remember, but he did know that his computer, food and clothes survived the journey. The computer was dead weight, he realized, after landing ashore. "At least least I can write down my thoughts before the battery dies," he said as he closed the screen for the last time as the percentage in the bottom right corner blinked one percent and switched to zero and the screen died. Tossing that onto his the other piece of, now, dead weight, his matress he decided to act on what he wrote, 'I must find shelter, first and for most, if i am to survive, but that can wait until I have explored part of this island and found some native foods to eat. The swamp that I landed next to does not look to support anything edible in it so I must look else where.' Finally Conner got up and decided to look and see what exactly was in the swamp. From the edges it looked to contain only weeds and tall grass, but upon closer inspection he has found that the swamp is fed by a small river and continues north. "There must be food along it," Conner stated as he began to follow the stream, not that far north the plants began to change, becoming more sinewy and vine like while at the same time being sturdy and strong, he looked farther down and found that the growth continued to become more vine like. Walking back to the beginning of this change Conner found a small natural orchard of bamboo. Finding a sturdy stalk a little shorter then himself he tried to break it off but found that almost impossible, and so he pulled it out of the ground. This made him a little hungry so he took his newly 'made' weapon and headed back to get something to eat from his now low stash of food, breakfast had taken care of most of it. Grabbing his bag of clothes and the little food left he decided on another corse of action. Conner started to move along the shore line, he didn't want to deal with the thicket that would surely form from those vines. Walking west toward a single moutain he decided not to think on anything but what was in front of him, this way he wouldn't be bothered with thoughts of being alone and never being rescued. He continued to west and found that slowly his shoes were filling with sand. After dumping them out, Conner added his shoes and socks to his bag of goodies and continued to head west. "This will take some time he said and moved closer to the woods, hoping to find a fruit tree or two and be able to get something fresh to eat. -------------------

~*Xi*~ Xi looked up from the sand when she heard a voice calling out to her. Well that answers that question, she thought in response to her earlier one about other people being on the island. She stared at the girl jogging toward her. She had blonde hair and was wearing little more than a bathing suit. Xi scowled but headed towards her anyway. She was toned. Must be in some kind of sport. "What do you think we're on a cruise ship?" she demanded before realizing the irony of the situation. She scowled even more. "Forget it." She felt so dirty like this. Sand all in her clothes and her hair, she sighed and looked around. "Have you seen anyone else?" Without waiting for a response she began to walk towards the forest, but then stopped and turned. "We should probably get food unless you've got some already that you wouldn't mind sharing with me. I want to find some place where I can wash off." It was then she realized another predicament. She had no change of clothes. Grrrrr. I must be the most ill-prepared person here. Her eyebrow twitched slightly. I'll just wash the clothes I have then. She thought back to what was in her bag. Presents her sisters had given her the other day on the cruise ship. One had been a t-shirt from the cruise ship gift shop. She remembered because she'd been rather annoyed. "I could have bought this myself!" she had told them. But now she missed them and was thankful that they'd gotten her the shirt, especially since it was two sizes too large. It would work as a makeshift dress while she waited for her other clothes to dry. She turned back to the girl standing a couple feet from her. "Well are you just gonna stand there? We haven't got all day. We need to get back in time to make a signal fire. I have no intentions of staying on this island any longer than I have too." As she continued walking to the trees a lot less gracefully than she'd hope she would due to the sand caving in beneath her feet making her moves choppy and slow. "What's your name anyway? I'm Xi Ang." ~*Damara*~ Damara glanced away from the bird, subconsciously towards the lake. An ice pillar. Perra. A small smile granced her lips as she recalled the last time he'd been so kind as to give her hair a chance to stretch. Just as suddenly as it had appeared, the ice pillar was gone. She looked back at her finger. The bird was gone. She took it and thoughtfully began fingering the collar on her neck. Yes. Slightly irritated she rose and turned, her dress wafting around her gracefully as she walked, her toes pressing daintily into the moist earth. She knew why the bird had flown away. She could hear the voices. Today, she'd decided to stay near the city, so that must have been Perra coming back from his morning training or whatever it was he did over there. He was younger than her by four years, but he was so dedicated. Not nearly bloodthirsty enough in her opinion, but he was all right. She made little sound as she continued through the trees. Slowly, two boys came into view. Ah yes. And our dearest Sanji. She was older than both of them. She spoke quietly, but her voice held authority. "Why, may I ask, are you making so much noise? You're scaring away the birds." Her eyes were steely as she noticed the sword Sanji held in his hands. "Oh? Is that it?" she looked at Perra to see if he was going to accept. -------------------

His dash interrupted by the Deity, Perra jumped onto the trunk of a tree to halt himself, bending his legs as he backflipped off it to come to a halt. In front of him was Sanji, with that wicked looking sword on his back as usual. "I'm doing fine Sanji, what about you? Heard the rumor yet? I would think that would be enough to put you in a happy mood." Leaning against a tree, Perra picked out pieces of the foliage that he had collected during his dashing, although by now it was ice. He froze the plants he ran through and shattered them, clearing a path in no time with little to no interruptions. "If by share, you mean you haven't heard the rumor, then yes I suppose. It would seem that a ship went down near this island, and numerous life rafts deployed from it. Those rafts and people have nowhere to go other than here. I anticipate we'll be having visitors quite soon, if they're not on our doorstep already." He maintained the calm demeanor, the last thing he wanted was to irritate this Deity. Forming the swordwhip could be taken as a hostile act, and that would lead to a fight. It wouldn't take much to talk though, and if the Deity struck, then Perra still could form a small shield to stop the attack. Sanji is not one I want to fight on a whim, he doesn't know when to stop. Doesn't differentiate between Deity and human. A sharp claw of ice formed on his index finger, and he lazily traced random doodles in the trunk of the tree, all the while keeping an eye on Sanji. He wouldn't put it past him to strike without warning. The sudden appearance of Damara didn't faze Perra, he was used to her appearing without warning. "We haven't begun making much noise yet Damara, though that could change very soon. By the by, have you heard the rumor?" -------------------

"There's a plain up in main where there's tiny drops of rain..." His cheek was black with stubble, his feet dotted with blisters, his every inch of skin glistening with sweat, and his T-shirt flecked white with salt and dark grey with perspiration. Stumbling along the river, leant heavily on a huge, straight branch, and singing horribly to himself, came the lumbering figure of Roger Sparre. "...forming dripples in a puddle that they make. And that puddle grows beyond..." Surrounded by a swarm of mosquitos, obviously too exhausted to even swat at the buzzing cloud, he made his way through the forest, hunched and panting heavily every other second. Following closely behind him were fast-growing group of flies, landing in the small spots of blood occasionally fell from his feet onto the riverside. Goalless, he stumbled along the river, pondering his situation. "...into something called a pond, spreading outward 'til it turns into a lake..." As the cruiser was getting evacuated, Roger had remained very calm, gathering his favourite belongings and then heading to the lifeboats. Soon came the realization that there were not enough, and with this came a swift decision: survival of the fittest. Being the towering giant he was, at least in this part of the world, he simply plowed through the masses of people towards the nearest lifeboat. What with the general disarray, there was no possibility to make a concerted effort to stop him, and he kept well clear of anyone who could have done so by his own power. Someone else would drown in his stead, but such was the way life: what gave them more of a right to life than him? Nothing. The opposite would also be true, but with no given right, there is only taken right. "...When that lake springs a leak, then it forms a little creek, which goes rushing down and turns into a stream..." With this philosophy to justify his actions, he'd pushed aside all before him until he reached what he believed to be his salvation. However, the boat was already full, and was being lowered into the water. Roger immediately reacted by jumping. He failed, missing the boat completely and instead hitting the sea. Thoroughly disgruntled by this course of events, the ample adolescent set his sights on the only land visible. "...and the water keeps on flowing so the trees can keep on growing in a pattern that is showing nature's scheme..." Without any recollection of actually reaching the island, he woke up on the beach some time ago. Heading into the verdure of the forest he soon happened upon this river. After drinking his fill he set off, following the stream in hopes that any island-dwellers might have chosen to build their settlements close to the water. Breaking off a suitable branch from an opporutenly positioned tree he made himself a walking stick, or a club in case he met some wild beast and felt like going down fighting... He'd certainly have traded it for a fly swatter at this point, though. "...and every flower, every weed, get the water that they need, from that little tiny stream which trickles by..." Now he no longer had a choice but sticking to the river. Any other way he would only get lost in the forest. Or "loster", rather. The only landmark he had seen so far was a tranquil little lake, but there was noone there as far as he could see, so he had dismissed it without much thought. Up until then everything had been quiet, but now he could hear rustling in the forest to his left. Turning his head leftwards, he tilted it, cracking his neck as he stopped. With any luck, whatever it was might pass by close enough for him to spot it. It never occured to him that it might be something he wouldn't like to have spotting him, nor did it occur to him to stop singing. "...And in the swamp it picks up germs from bacteria and worms, and if you drink it you'll get really sick and die..." -------------------

A rustling could be heard as Lenore pushed through the rather familiar-looking brush, stepping through to be greeted with a distressing sight. If she hadn't been walking in circles for about two hours, that is, it might have been less so. Much, much less so. More forest. More forest that looked awfully identical to the rest of the forest. Bounding through toward a voice that hardly sounded hostile, however badly tuned, she had stumbled through clumsily and landed flatly on her arse, now settled nicely in the muddy soil bordering another wannabe-creek she seemed to always run into, literally, searching for the way back to her shelter when she could not for the life of her remember which landmarks she had noted with her, she thought, fantastic navigational skills. "Unbelievable!" She jumped up with the support of her no-longer-so-mighty broken in half stick weapon, twirling around to get a look at the damage to the back of her skirt, when she spotted, out of the corner of her eyes, a pair of feet. She stopped abruptly, allowing her lower body to catch up with her as her gaze travelled up the pair of shoes to the pair of legs, up and up until her eyes fell upon one Roger Sparre's face. She placed a hand on the strap of her bag reflexively, even though, by the look of his clothes, he didn't seem the cannibalistic native type. "Are-, I...Were you on the...Can-Are you stranded here too?" She said finally after stumbling over her words a bit in addition to her usual clumsiness, wide-eyed and confused. -------------------

Aya ((Waiting for response... Sorry v_v I'll make up for lost postage in Tehkis' section ^-^)) Tehkis Tehkis awoke in a haze. It was bright, too bright. Oh well, I guess this is heaven... But wait... What is this feeling in my "ARM! OWW!" Tehkis screamed at the top of his lungs, finally realizing his pain. He looked over at the arm in awe. "Hmm... I guess that hit to my arm really did do something fierce to it... Lets try to move it..." Tehkis tried moving the arm, but only succeded in raising the extreme amount of pain jolting through his entire arm. Okay, thats obviously going to be a problem Tehkis used his good arm to prop himself up to sit on the sand. The sun was setting over the horizon of the calm sea. Tehkis carefully unbuttoned his white shirt and removed it, revealing a tight fishhnet shirt covering his lightly muscular torso. Tehkis carefully folded the white shirt and looked at his injured arm. Oh man, this looks like it's going to be painful. Tehkis hesitantly reached for the knife sticking out of his arm. Now I remember... I was by that cart of kitchen supplies when I fell... That must be how it got lodged into my arm... I remember getting hit with something hard, then icking up as many knives as I could... They should still be in that hip hilt... I'll check later. For now, I have to get this thing out of my arm... Tehkis firmly grabbed the knife by the hard wooden handle, closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and pulled. "Gah!" Tehkis released his breath in pain as the knife pulled out, covered in red streaks. Okay, direct pressure... So I'll tie the shirt on... Tehkis picked u the shirt and tied the shirt on tightly, he slowly started to move his arm. "Ah, that feels much better!" Tehkis reached for the knife hilt on his hip and sure enough, it was still there... "Now lets see... I have this small paring knife which I just pulled out. I seem to have lost a few from the jump... So I am left with this small paring knife, and two knives which are about seven inches long each. I should be good... But first, I'm gonna take a nap..." Tehkis rested back down on the sand, but his thoughts quickly distracted him from standing still... I have to find my family... Or anyone on this island that can help me... Tehkis sat back up and looked out at the setting sun. I wonder where everyone is... Mom, Aya, everyone... Am I all alone again? -------------------

A siren blared throughout the air as crowds of people ran wildly to join loved ones and get to a life boat as quickly as possible. There were a lack of boats at this moment in time, people had overloaded them there had to be at least a thousand people or more on the cruise ship. Alice grimaced, she hadn't made it to any of the lifeboats fast enough. They had all left, over crowded and almost sinking, saving those who were agile enough to get to them. Only one option presented itself to her; jump off the ship and swim. She stared dismally at the crashing waves of blue below her. The young girl had never taken swimming lessons and had always been scared to swim where she couldn't touch bottom. I defiantly can't touch here, she whispered into the air, her words being drowned by the loud noises from everyone else around. She had gotten separated from her parents and had found herself in the last place she had wanted to be, about to possibly drown. Alice didn't even know if her parents had made it to a boat or if they were deciding whether or not to leap into the sea like her. Alice bit her lip, closed her eyes tightly and took a deep breath through her nose as she jumped from the cruise ship. She hit the water hard and fast, sinking beneath it. Her jean shorts and t-shirt didn't weigh her down as much as she thought they would. Opening her eyes under the water she winced, the wetness stung them a little. Surfacing she took a deep breath, struggling to stay on top of the waves. I should have taken those lessons. Alice kicked her legs ferociously, trying in vain to stay up. She took a late breath, breathing in the water and sputtering as soon as she surfaced again. She let out a cry, using her arms now, splashing violently. Alice was sinking again, eyes wide with fear. She yelled for help, flailing an arm to show where she was, but there was no reply. She didn't think there would be, everyone else was dealing with there own problems. She struggled for another ten minutes, choking on the waves and attempting to swim like mad. Her legs grew tired eventually and she couldn't seem to stay afloat anymore. She let out a whimper and sank beneath the vast ocean. Alice attempted to struggle again, she didn't want to drown, she wanted to live! Her mind reeled in horror as she felt herself slipping into darkness, she was going to drown. *** Alice could feel herself come to, but she didn't dare open her eyes, scared of what she might see. Warm sand pillowed her head, she could feel waves rolling up her feet and legs. Everything hurt, but it felt good to breath something either than water. She wondered if she had died as warm air caressed her skin. There's no way I could have lived through that. She tenderly moved into a crawling position, moving forward a few feet and immediately falling back onto the soft sand with a groan. Alice finally opened her eyes slowly, the friendly sun half blinding her. She let out another groan of distaste and stood in a groggy fashion. She felt well enough to stand, the dizziness was fading as quick as it came. Putting a hand to her forehead to block the sun she peered in all directions. She idly wondered where she was and how she got there. Ahead of her was a thick forest, mountains in the distance. She felt a little nervous, there were bound to be other survivors and that was great, but what about island natives or something? Alice glanced around once more and picked up a large sturdy stick. Is there anyone else around?! She screamed out, her voice cracking a little. Her voice was very melodious, but it was edged with panic and fear. She held her stick tight to her chest and began to walk in the direction of the forest, it wasn't far and she felt she was bound to find something edible in there it would also be much cooler inside a dense forest! Alice smiled a little to herself, living on an island with just her and nature wouldn't be too bad. She had always enjoyed being with animals and plant life, although being completely alone would get scary. She started to hum to keep herself company, noting that their seemed to be other foot prints along the sand. Although that could just be indents in the sand and my eyes are playing tricks on me... Shaking her head harshly, causing her still wet hair to fly behind her shoulder, she reprimanded herself. Negative thinking would only cause her to become lonely and that was the last thing Alice needed. With a determined look she continued her walk to the forest, happy that the shade would provide a good shelter spot. -------------------

"Hmm... a ship?" He muttered quietly trying to remember what a ship was. After some moments, when he finally realized that a ship was was big huge thingy that humans use to travel on water, his eyes glistened an icy blue, overflowing with a sadistic excitement. "Humans on the 'land... eh?~" his voice was full of glee as he retracted his hand and put away the ominous edge that was so mercifully pointed at Perra. "Human ..." He muttered to himself before he dashed, and like a blur, he disappeared into the thick forest that would eventually lead to the opening to the beach. Sanji couldn't help but grin to himself at this prospect of hunting down humans at his very own home!! The woman patted the child's head before strapping on the collar around his neck and his sister's. His sister looked sad as he sat there, shackled. Seeing her like that, it made him sad too as he grimaced at the woman. "My my, what an angry child. What will you? Stab me? Hmm?" She taunted the child, causing him to grimace even moreso than before. She laughed at his childish devices... until she started choking, and fell on her knees. She reached up to her head and grabbed it tightly as her eyes widened with fear. There was something inside her head that shouldn't be there but she had no way to bring it out. It only caused her more and more pain. The noise was getting louder and changing levels... sometiems high sometimes low. The erratic waves of ether frequencies caused her to fall on the ground and pass out, blood streams running out of her ears and her mouth. Soon, couple of guards came in and struck the children, both of them and dragged them away into the quarantined ship... Sanji gritted his teeth at the memory as he dashed through the thick undergrowths, sometiems not making the slightest bit of footprints. And now he could see the beach at the distance as he came to a halt behind a tree. Humans ... he thought as he dashed out there and onto the sand, behind the girl. She had purple-ish hair and not very old. She had wooden stick that looked like a tree branch in her hand. "Y hallo thar mai gewd suh, how ye be~?" He muttered as a sneer formed over his lips. He was going to have some fun... |

Zabuza sat up from his tree branch high up in the air. The air was slowly getting more and more humid. It was a rather disgusting feeling he thought. He pulled up a boulder from the ground, and gave himself his own personal elevator ride. As he decended lower towards the ground, the air got drier and less humid much to Zabuza's pleasing. Once he reached the ground he stepped down and looked everywhich way. Everything was surrounded by endless lines and clutters of dense thick trees of all varies but mainly pine. It seemed quite lonely, he was use to being surrounded by people, either other deities or helpless civilians that needed to be extinguished of. Unknowing and frankly uncaring of where to go, he walked to the north, or what he thought was north; Zabuza's navigation skills were horrible. After what seemed to be hours Zabuza heard the sound of words, or mumbling anyways. He continued walking a little faster pace now until he spotted a figure of a person. This confused him, the person didn't look familiar in the slightest. Confusion swept his mind but he decided to play nice. "Hello miss," he said politely to the slightly blond female. Her jean shorts and T-shirt looked a little frayed and a bit wet. -------------------

Mrrrrr Randee groaned as he woke from his sleep. He was always a deep sleeper and it was not until he finally opened his eyes that he realised the position he was in once more. He had a slight headache but nothing other than that as an injury but his situation was still grim as he was drifting in the water with no sight of land. He closed his eyes as he tried to forget the situation he was in. --- [Memories] Get up get up! shouted Randee's mother as he lay there perfectly still until tugged by his mothers hands. He responded by opening his eyes quickly from the slight shock she had given him. He looked at the small cabin they were in and could see the panic his mother and father were in. Both were in their night ware and with his little sister being held in his fathers arms. Both had worried expressions and it was now he noticed the small bell on the wall flash on with read before turning off, darkening the room somewhat. He raised him self from the single bunk he was in before standing on the ground of the cabin. His feet met the floor at an angle to which Randee fell over and placed his hand in front of his face. Heh? he was confused and was still trying to take everything in. Get up! We have to go! a familiar voice behind him sounded. Randee turned around to see his older sister also awakened before she too got up and hurried to her feet. She had managed to not fall over but did have to hold on to the side as the floor tilted to one side. He could tell something bad was wrong for the ship to tilt this badly. What has happened?. --- He was running down the corridor. The ship has tilted even more but he could still stand. In front were the four other members of his family with the little sister being forced to go faster than she would ordinarily want to. All had life vest including him. --- Randee keep up a voice ahead of him yelled. He could see his sister continue to run into a crowd ahead. They had reached the main deck of the ship. --- Randee could see his family disappear over the edge as they dissended into a small boat being lowered into the sea. He waved franticly but was not allowed to join them after being held back by some man in uniform. He could see someone run forward and jump over the edge but did not see what happened to him. --- Help me Randee screamed as he felt him self go into the water. He could feel the life vest slip its way to his head as the ties had come undone. Other people screamed also but he could not make out any of the voices or faces. --- He wakes to find him self alone but he spots some wreckage of some empty plastic bottles and other garbage drifting in the water. He pulls him self on top of the mangled peaces and his top half of his body lies on top while his feet remain submerged. -------------------

To Julie's surprise, this girl seemed to have some sort of attitude against her attire. She had a nasty habit of giving it right back. "Excuse me? Is there something wrong with trying to keep cool?" she asked, raising an eyebrow and folding her arms across her chest. Before she knew it, the girl was heading straight for the forest, "Okay, number one, you talk to fast. Number two, no I haven't seen anyone yet. Number three, who says that we're not going to be rescued. And finally, the name's Jules Turner." She begrudingly followed the girl into the jungle and thought rationally, Bad company is better than no company at all, right? "Do you have any idea where you're going?" she asked, taking a few hurried steps and coming up right next to Xi Ang. Fortunately for the both of them, Julie had. She'd journeyed into the forest to try and find some sort of tribe or civilization, but to no avail, she found nothing. She did, however, locate the stream. "Well?" she asked, egging her on with an answer. -------------------

Alice let out a little scream and swung around, tree branch held up in a defensive position. H-hello, her voice seemed fragile and her eyes were unnaturally wide from the surprise of meeting another person so quickly, I'm, I'm, fine... Thank you, sir. I'm so relived I'm not the only person on this island! That shot her plan of living with nature, but she couldn't complain about that. Nature would get awfully boring and eventually drive her to madness. There was a sneer on the boys lips, something about the way he was standing, not to mention the expression on his face, unnerved Alice. Her tree branch was still clutched tightly to her chest as she backed away slowly, looking like a frightened kitten. She felt it was rude of her to be backing away so unceremoniously as the boy had only asked her how she was, perhaps the expression was a permanent scowl. Who cares, he scares me... Alice turned around sharply again, another person to welcome her onto the island. She stopped moving once she was at a distance that she could see them both clearly, eyes darting nervously to the forest. How lovely, maybe there's a town here or something? Are you from the cruise ship as well? You two don't look like cannibals... Nice to meet the both of you? She wasn't sure how to act, Alice thought that they were from the wrecked ship. They probably washed up to shore before me, or maybe they're locals. She smiled brightly, Anyways, it was a pleasure to meet you, I'll be on my way! She waved a little as to not be rude and turned heading at a fast walk to the forest again. -------------------

Xi continued, staring straight ahead. She faltered at the Julia's question. "Er, no, I don't. Do you know where we should be going?" She was partially hoping to catch her on the same question, but she was really hoping the girl would say yes. A small scream met her ears. Xi tensed, tilting her head slightly. "Come on Julia, there might be someone else on the island and she might need help!" She started running as best she could in the loose sand. As she rounded a bit of the trees, she could see a girl with blonde hair and purple shorts making quickly for the trees. "Hey! Is everything all right?" Xi asked waving her over. Still, she moved slightly into the trees in case the girl was running away from cannibals or some kind of wild boar, though she'd probably actually be running if it was either one of them. If the girl came, hopefully she'd be smart enough to do it fast and make it into the trees out of sight. In the meantime, Xi leaned over towards Julia, keeping her eye on the girl, and whispered, "Do you know how we could make a fast escape from this area?" -------------------

*Kieran* Why does my head hurt ...? The words left his slightly parted lips as he lifted a hand and rested it on his forehead, keeping his eyes clenched shut. He was lying on a solid surface, and it was warm. His fingers twitched as he let his other arm rest at his side, taking in the gritty feeling of something that felt like sand. He gritted his teeth as he gripped at the ground, trying to balance himself as he raised to a sitting position. He heaved a slight moan. The pain he felt enveloping his head turned into throbbing, that seemed to beat in tune with his heart. Slowly but surely, he opened his eyes. The light from the blistering sun, and the light in general, hurt them. He removed his hand, looking at it with a look of distaste. It was covered in wet sand and what appeared to be a fresh stain of blood. I hit my head on something, was his first guess as he held his head low, letting his eyes scan the ground. There was a door washed up next to him or what once was a door. It was broken into several pieces, and the wood looked worn. Probably from the harsh beatings of the ocean. Upon further inspection, he saw a faded stain of red on one of the broken pieces of the door. So that was what had injured his head. He didnt suppose it was too bad; it just knocked him senseless for the most part. He furrowed his brows as he tried to remember what happened. Everything was so calm, and then, in the blink of an eye, everyone was panicking. They screamed, some cried, but the message was clear. The ship was going down. Seventeen year old Kieran Alexander had been standing on the deck, calmly watching the ocean. He was alone in his own little world. The Alexanders were a small family from England, made up of a mother, father, older sister, and Kieran. They owned a Carpentry business, a job that Kieran was quite skilled with. He loved to help his father whenever he could; hed even decline after school programs just to carve away at wood and listen to his fathers jokes and stories. It was all different now. The cruise was supposed to be a vacation, a reward to Kieran for getting good grades all year long. Kieran had a gut feeling that something wasnt right, and hed never liked ships; though, being the shy boy that he was, never spoke up. Now, in that moment, he wished that he did. He swallowed hard, as if there was a lump in his throat that would not go down. He could feel his heart beat in his ears, he could hear it, but the screaming of the hysteric people onboard far overpowered it. He opened his mouth as if to speak, moving it up and down a few times, but making no sound. It was as if the fear had a strangle hold on even his voice, and would not let it go. Finally, after many failed attempts, Kieran called for his family. He called again, but received no answer. Slowly he began walking the deck of the plummeting ship, losing his balance as it dived forward, letting out a surprised yelp. He rammed into something a person. And not a friendly person. A frantic, mean, selfish person, from what Kieran could gather from their actions and voice. Then again, who wouldnt be trying to save their own lives? Watch it, kid! They screamed frantically. Kieran tried to muster an apology, but it did not come. Instead, the teen was rammed into, and lost his balance once more. This time, as the ship took another hard jolt to its death, he was thrown over the railing. His fingers slipped, unable to hold on. His palms had been sweating from the fear, something that was about to cost him his life, he thought. His eyes stung; maybe from the seawater, or maybe from tears. He didnt know which. All he knew was that he was about to die. He was about to die a death seemingly worthy for an invisible child that was only noticed when he did something great, such as maintain high scores. He shut his eyes tightly as he fell, the cold air tearing away at his body, making him tense. He hit the water, and it felt like a thousand, ice cold knives being jammed into his soon to be lifeless body. He gasped a painful gasp, fighting back the tears that threatened to roll down his cheeks. His clothing weighed him down, especially his boots. The water poured in through his nose and mouth, running down his wind pipe, depriving him of his precious air. He gagged, he coughed, to no avail. His chest began to hurt, and he felt his body grow numb. There was a fire inside of him, and it was the only thing that made him believe he was alive. As if in a pathetic attempt to save his life, Kieran flailed his arms, attempting to propel himself to the surface. His body was getting heavier. He was dying. Please God, help him... He reached his hand through the surface of the water, though it felt more like lead, latching it onto a solid surface that hed managed to make out. He hoisted himself upward, grabbing onto it for dear life as he gagged and vomited the seawater. His body shook violently, tingling all over. His clothes clung to his skin, and it was now easy to see that he was a very lean boy. Still coughing and hacking up sea water, Kieran tried to use what energy he had left to hoist his whole body onto the object. He didnt know what it was at the time, only that it remained afloat. However, he only made if halfway onto the object before the sea shook violently, jerking Kieran forward, his head colliding with the object. Once again, there was a surge of pain, followed by darkness... Kieran gaped. He was still alive after all that? The Gods must have been looking out for him, but what about his family? Did they survive? Where there on this island or whatever as well? Was anyone else on this island at all? He bit his bottom lip as he thought, sitting in the sand as if he were a defective statue. Finally, he managed to push himself to his feet, swaying a bit as he stood. His legs didnt feel like they belonged to him. He felt like they were of a different force, trying to keep his frail body balanced. He shrugged this off. Hed survived a wreck, for Christs sake. He was bound to feel weird. He let his gray gaze rest on the remnants of the door for a few moments, before he gazed off into the horizon. It was simply beautiful. No humans to ruin it, just beauty... The air smelled crisp and clean, unlike back home. Was this the smell of what it was to be free? He turned around, his shoulder length dark hair clinging to his face and neck as he did so. This was an island, so there had to be some necessities for life, right? At first glance, or any glance, for that matter, the island certainly didnt look... dead. Kieran shrugged, walking from the beach and deeper into the island. He didnt stray far, though. He stopped as soon as he found a large branch on the ground. It looked freshly fallen, or cut. He knelt down, picking it up, studying it. Ive always wanted to try this, he mumbled to himself as he fished around in his pocket until he pulled out what hed been looking for a knife. He ran his finger along the blade. Its rather dull, so it wont be of use to me after I finish this... The teen seated himself on the ground, not caring about the sand that invaded his shoes and pants. He was going to test out his woodworking skills by making a boomerang from the fallen branch. With a small, content smile on his slightly darkened features, Kieran began humming a soothing tune as he got to work on his boomerang. If anyone was around, he didn't notice. *Reyana* Reyana perched herself in a large tree on a fairly large branch, which could support her weight. Not that she weighed that much, anyway. She pouted as she glared off into the distance, her arms clutched around her middle. The cheese, her beloved cheese, had sickened her yet again. She didnt understand why, and it upset her. It always did. Every time she bit into the delicious food, her body would react in a most unpleasant manner. She sighed. My stomach hurts... Her voice was childish, as if she was just a small child instead of a practically grown adult. She acted the part well enough, too. Where was Damara, she wondered? Shed heard her friends voice earlier, or her ears were playing tricks on her as they often did. Reyana didnt exactly have the most trustworthy hearing when she was busy with her beloved cheese. Dam Dam, Reyana mumbled, poking her bottom lip out further in a more childish pout, if that was even possible. Gah! She kicked at the branch she was perched on, unaware of the cracking noise it made. The branch was giving away under her constant fidgeting, and wouldnt last longer. Dam D She was cut off as the branch snapped loudly, probably echoing through the part of the forest she was in. She heard a ripping sound and growled inwardly. Something had snagged her dress. The young adult clenched her eyes shut as she fell, expecting a very hard landing, but instead landed on something relatively soft. It didnt hurt as much as she thought it would. DAAAAM DAAAAAM! Reyana whined. Where are you? I need to talk to you! Something happened with the cheese again, and my dress got ripped! Dam Dam! She whimpered. Answer me! -------------------

((I'll take care of it then ^-^ Sorry bout the confusion though)) Aya Aya ran toward the figure in the distance yelling at the top of her lungs "Heeey! I need your help! Can you hear me? Heeey!" Aya stumbled and fell face first into the sand. Pulling herself up, Aya looked for the object, but only saw the clothes she had hung to dry earlier in the tree... Oh this always has to happen to me... Why am I so stupid? Aya turned around and walked back to where she left her brother. Aya squinted to make out his silouette, but it seemed... Odd somehow... "What the..." Aya murmered under her breath. Is he sitting? No way... With that injury... How could he be moving? Excited, Aya ran towards her brother and plopped herself next to him in the sand. "Wow, that looks like it hurts... Are you okay... Can you even move your arm?" Tehkis just stared blankly into the sky... Tehkis Tehkis was sitting in the nice warm sand where Aya had left him only fifteen minutes ago... I wonder where I could be... Theres nothing around for a while... Oh well... Guess I'll find out when they come to rescue me. Then he heard it... That voice... Great. she's blabbing to me... And how rude, she didn't even introduce herself... I'd bet she's a real spaz... Tehkis turned to look at the person sitting next to him, and gasped. "Aya! I'm so glad your alive! Are you hurt, are you okay? How did you get here? Wheres mom? Have you seen anyone else? Where are we? Theres just so much I don't know... I'm glad I found you!" Tehkis hugged Aya tightly and quickly pulled away wincing in pain at his arm. Damn... Almost forgot about that... Oh well, at least I'm not alone here... "Hey Aya, I think we should find something to eat... I'm getting a little hungry... I have some knives if we need to kill something small... Like a squirrel..." After talking for a bit, Tehkis and Aya headed for Aya's campout where she had stocked supplies for a small fire if they needed it. She also had one knife and a few boxes of needles she had taken from the ship while it was going down. They talked and talked late into the night... -------------------

Damara raised an eyebrow at Perra. "Rumor? No, I haven't. What's going on? Where did you hear this... rumor, Perra?" She stared at the two of them. Sanji seemed to have a wild gleam in his eye. Damara wanted to know why. Her hair swished irritably in the wind as she waited for the boys response. Sudden movements made Damaras eyes shoot over to Sanji, but he was merely turning to leave. She started after him but stopped and watched him disappear into the trees. It was just her and Perra now. She turned back to him, eager to hear what news he had to share. A crack and a rustle met her ears. A mumble, and then another rustle. And then a loud crack. Damaras head shot upwards, as she heard a ripping sound and something crashed onto her. DAAAAM DAAAAAM! a familiar voice whined from atop her. Where are you? I need to talk to you! Something happened with the cheese again, and my dress got ripped! Dam Dam! A pause to whimper. Answer me! Damara flailed and struggled to get her head out of the dirt to not only answer the question but to also get a breath of air. She shifted until she was able to do that. Im right here! she exclaimed, gasping for air and spitting moist soil out of her mouth. Get off me you idiot. What are you doing falling out of trees again? And what happened with your godforsaken cheese? Lord knows you never share any with me! It was Rey Rey. She should have known. -------------------

"Mmm, more of "saw with my own eyes" than a "rumor." Amazing what you can see when flying high above on a little platform of ice, most marvelous sunsets. Anyways, the life boats deployed, so they might be able to stay away, but I saw some people leaping overboard, apparently they didn't have enough boats. There's only two places for those people to go. The bottom of the sea, and here. Survival instinct in humans is quite powerful, so I doubt any let themselves drown." A sharp crack rent the air and Perra swiftly leapt backwards, the small point on his finger quickly enveloping his entire hand with a frozen claw, cracking as he flexed the fingers. It proved to be for naught though, it was only Reyana. Only Reyana falling on Damara that is. She'd probably feel that in the morning. "So nice of you to "drop in" Rey. I think you might have fixed a crick in Dama's spine, if she had any that is. So I take it you heard what I said? About the humans that is?" The claw on his hand melted away, leaving the sharp point again. Crouching down, he began to doodle in the dirt, waiting for Rey to realize that Damara was underneath her, and not very happy. -------------------

"I am fine. Wait cannibals I don't know of such..." the lady started walking backwards. "Don't,.." then she turned around and started leaving. "No wait." Zabuza followed behind trying to keep out of sight. He wasn't sure who she was, but he kinda wanted to find out. She was very cute in her own way. He hoped that he wouldn't have to use his powers to stop her but he might if the time arrised. Zabuza then decided to take refuge in the trees high above. He would be out of sight up here better until they broke the forestry. Everynow and then his eyes would look down at her face and he would doze off. These feelings were quite odd from what he was used to. Normally he would be killing people like her. But she was.... different... beautiful... no, he couldn't fall in love here. Not of all places. -------------------

"The stream joins a ri-" Then something crashed through the bushes before him. Startled and wide-eyed, he jumped backwards, raising his branch before him as he did so, a small cloud of flies lifting off from his feet, only to return as soon as he stopped again. Looking down at the girl, Roger took a few deep breaths to steady himself before he jabbed his walking stick into the ground to lean at it again. By the time the young girl adressed him, he was already chuckling at the comical elements of the situation. "Salut." He said, grinning. "In a hurry?" Taking another deep breath, he put his arm out in front of his ample belly and performed a curt bow, as if he had been on a formal social event in the 1700-hundreds, rather than on a desert island. "Roger Arvid Sparre, at your service." The stubble-faced boy then proclaimed, his accent dramatically different as he uttered his name. Quite clearly not an Englishman. He couldn't help a smug smile forming on his face as he eyed the girl. The fall had simply been too graceless for him to forget that quickly. Back to leaning on his walking stick, Roger looked at the little girl what had burst through the greenery, basically scanning her with his eyes. He didn't feel too optimistic. Cute as she might have been, Roger would much rather have had intellectual company, to reduce the drudgery of island life. He had to supress a frown as he got further up her form: blue hair. Oh, how he hated synthetic hair colours... "Shipwrecked am I, not unlike yourself, apparently. Now that you've asked a question, let me ask one in turn. Are you alone here?" -------------------
