You could choose a few different styles of backgrounds and make people create a pic using them. It would sort of be like the reverse SOTW because your not building around a pic but rather along side it. You could vote for the ways in which best incorporate the background. Your choice. Just an idea ^.^ -------------------

Yes that is what I mean. It is just hard to explain cause I'm new to graphic designing and don't know all the terms. All I can say is stock backgrounds used and creating anything you want around either one or many of the stock backgrounds. But yes that is what I am saying. -------------------

Why not a more general theme? Making a theme specific to one anime or game would prohibit some designers from using their full potential. I would think a more general theme would allow more room to work with. I could see using one specific picture, like that of Kon, but only one anime would give those who have seen the anime an obvious advantage over those who haven't. Just an idea, mind you. As for my suggestion - The Undead. -------------------

Master artist can paint with any brush, even a broken one. So really, just because you watched or played a certain game, doesn't give you any advantage over people who haven't. I'll go with Kiwi's suggestion. Personally, I haven't played any of the games he or Ryuji suggested. |

I stand against animated sigs. The animation deters the eye from the object of attention, even if it is the animation. |

I've only produced animated sigs for comical reasons. Such as that SK APPROVES Sig I made, as well as that Dr Tran sig. However, I'm also against having animated sigs for a contest solely because that keeping the file size below 100kb is quite bothersome =I Anyways for future ones...if you can't think of a new theme in time o.o you could always just do another freestyle one. -------------------
