Of course you do realize, Emo dear, that when the others have shot their wad trying to take over the world, you and I shall be at the corner pub, knocking back a pint or two over bangers and mash, reminiscing on the glory days of the British Empire.

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

Heh...he thinks he feeling old. Heck, I can remember America's Bicentennial. And what I was doing when Challenger was lost. And when KAL 007 was shot down by the Soviet Union. And when Reagan bombed Libya...etc, ad nauseum. ::settles on to his rocking chair, and wraps an afghan around his legs::

My mother's ancestors were Puritans, kicked out of every country in Europe; Loyalists during the American Revolution; survived an Indian War Party with Daniel Boone; and was at the Alamo when Sam Houston P'O'd Santa Anna.

Nope. And as you can see, my family's had a history of [censored]...making people mad at us.

Historically speaking though, only about a third of the Colonies were in favor of declaring independence from Britain, a third remained Loyal to the Crown, and a third were completely and totally indifferent--all they wanted to know was where their next shilling or meal was coming from.

My senior prom? You want me to remember all they way back to 1991?
::dusts off the cobwebs, lubes up the gears, and tries to remember:: All I do remember about it was that it was called "A Night To Remember", yet I don't remember it. Of course the implications that it was named after Walter Lord's treatment of the Titanic disaster might have had something to do with not remembering it. And I wore tails and white tie to it.

Oh Boy my senior prom!
Well lets just say I didn't actually go to it, but we did do a few...interesting activities. rolleyes.gif
1) We teepeed 3 houses
2) We got into a shopping cart(From walmart) and we pulled up to Taco bell and ordered. They gave us free taco's. We were going to go on the road with the cart, but that was to dangerous.(FYI- we also took that same cart the next day to autozone and went up to a sales guy and told him there was something wrong with our car. "Whats wrong with it?" "Well it won't start!" "Well then where is it?" "Its in that parking space there" points to parking spot with cart lol sales guy laughed, manager got mad)
3) We played Paintball, but we didn't use paintball guns blink.gif (I used a pellet gun, David used his little pump pellet pistel, and the other guys had bb guns lol) Thank God no one lost an eye!
4) Most of the guys went home to their girls, I got dumped by mine and got nuthing but abstinence lol deadtongue.gif heh.gif

Well that was my Senior prom! sweeeet.gif
