The only jpop that I've heard are the anime osts that I come across. I do like Utada Hikaru's Time Will Tell, and it's not from an anime. I love disney songs. -------------------

You haven't really heard any J-Pop, either? It's really great, you should start listening to it. Do you listen to K-Pop? I love that, too. Try listening to some Boa Kwon (BoA). She does both Japanese-Pop and Korean-Pop, and she's one of my favorite singers. Disney songs... I remember how much I used to love those when I was a little, little kid. ^^ I think my favorite was.. Reflection, from Mulan. Funny how I remember these things now of all times. -------------------

I listen to a lot of K.Pop. Not so much anymore, but I did a lOT before. I was obsessed. When they came to the hollywood bowl, my friend and i got front row seats and went CRAZYYY. I used to like Boa but now, I've tired of her singing :l . I want to go to Disneyland. I love the song, When You Wish Upon a Star. It makes me feel warm inside. -------------------

lol, I was recently introduced to K-Pop, about a couple months ago, and I really liked it. But what's wrong with BoA? You just heard too much of her, eh? I love BoA... She's a good singer of both genres. I really think that's sweet that you like Disney stuff, by the way. ^.^ Oh, and I hope you don't feel like I'm patronizing you when I say that it's nice that you like Disney songs. Even though I grew out of it fairly quicky, I still think it's cute, anyway. I don't want to hurt your feelings, that's all. Question: If you could change one thing about Ranma 1/2, what would it be? -------------------

Thank you for your concern NarakuSlayer, Boa is a great singer, dancer, performer; she deserves all of the attention she gets from her fans. answer to the question: I would change the ending. Instead of Akane and Ranma just holding hands (in the manga) I'd rather have them smooch.. They never REALLY smooch. I want a REAL REAL REAL smooch. -------------------

Ok, Hana. Just making sure. No. They don't actually, willingly kiss. Unless you count the accidental kissing that happens at least twice, I think. But anyway, they should.

Sorry, I haven't been around of late. I was in Tennessee this past week, trying to resolve some issues from the last time I was there (end of January). Suffice it to say, not much was resolved. And that's a tale in and of itself. ------ If there was one thing I could change about Ranma 1/2? Well, just read Phoenix. -------------------

It's no biggie. Sorry to hear it though, Scooter. How was the weather there? Phoenix, that's right. I really like the way you plotted it. Your taste in Fanfiction is really, really nice. And you know how much I hate fanfic. Yet, I write it. I guess I wanted to make up for the really bad fanfics that I had read. Huh.. -------------------

It was actually quite nice. I packed for cold weather, they had spring-like. Thanks for the kudos. But I didn't really pre-plot out the story; I wrote it more of a "How would Ranma handle being an Air Force dependent," and, of course, the shameless self-promotion of an SI. It sort of grew a life of it's own after awhile. And some of it (Scooter's father's death) was a coping mechanism of my own. Yes, my father did contract Stage M prostate cancer; however, he's beaten it back. -------------------

Thanks, N-chan. I lost my Dad's mom in 88, to cancer as well; brother to an excessive lifestyle in '92. And my Mom's mom died while in Iraq at 94. Her heart said it was time to call it quits. And the indifference I received from my ex was one reason why she became my ex.
IT'S GLOBAL WARMING! THE POLAR CAPS ARE GOING TO MELT, AND WEESA ALL GONNA DIE! *running around like Jar Jar Binks* *slaps self silly* Sorry about that. -------------------

Aww... Sometimes I just try to forget that the polar ice caps are shrinking. But the truth is inescapeable.... -------- But it'll be ok, Jar-jar. Actually, I never like Jar-jar Binks... So dumb and annoying. He'll be the death of me, I swear!! -------------------

Try convincing our leaders of that. We still haven't complied with the Kyoto Accords, and some nations are like "If the US isn't complying, then why should we." I have no problem paying 3 bucks a gallon, if it were taxes for either infrastructure maintenance or environmental conservation. --------
Mmmm, Demerol; does the body good. As for Jar Jar, no one liked him when TPM came out. If anything SW fans found him to be an annoying nuisance. -------------------

But there's no point in trying that, of course. Hmm.... Speaking of petitions, I don't know if you've seen this in the Debate and Opinion section, but you should take a look at this; Stupid Petition Idea Spoiler: (select text to view or ) That's the dumbest idea in the planet. Like any body's going to ban anime. Like Dubbya could do that w/o the consent of the people! It's like some others said, they'd have to first ban TV, and porn, and video games and other more controversial things. Suffice to say, it was one of those little, "hold a meeting with some church friends and attempt to put a stop to this 'madness'" kind of thing. v_v; Just a complete waste of time. -------------------

We may be greener than some countries in our consumer products, N-chan, but when you look at our power generation, we're far from green:
France, on the other hand, generates 78% of their electricity with nuclear reactors (http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/cabs/France/Electricity.html). Scary that the frog people are greener than we are. As for nuclear weapons, we're guilty of letting that genie out of the bottle in 1945. Of course Operation Downfall, the amphibious assaults on Japan, had statistics of up to 1 million Allied casualties in the first 24 hours of the invasion of Kyushu, President Truman authorized the first (and only) use of nuclear weapons in combat. With a choice between half a million total casualties or millions of Allied dead, and the probable destruction of the Japanese culture, I think Truman chose wisely. -------------------

Wow.. A lot of that's news to me. I knew we weren't the greenest country, but that's still pretty bad. Imagine how America may feel when they find out (if they don't already know) that "the frog-eating cowards" are more ecological than we are! .... At any rate, the world is being so blind, here! It's almost like we don't even realize we're killing ourselves!! The way I see it, the world's fate is in us liberal's, peacenik's, and hippie's hands to try and convince the world to be more green. Or perhaps we could get Dubbya to pass a law restricting aerosol products? Hmmm... A bit too far-fetched, but that would be interesting to see..... But what would be do with the aerosol products still here? Throw them into space? Nuclear weapons: That's not as surprising. We use waaaaaaaay too many nuclear products, all of us, that is. Those who made breakthroughs in Nuclear Science by discovering X-Rays, say, kinda doomed us in doing so. Then again, we can't blame them, I suppose. Laws should have been made to prevent the excessive use of radiation where it's not necessary. That's just what I think. -------------------

Actually, if you look at a can of hair spray today, and compare it to one from fifteen years ago, you'll notice there are no CFCs in it. The problem is carbon emissions. We, as a nation, produce way to much; between power generation, industry, and personal conveyances. We wouldn't need to have two or three cars per household if mass transit was improved. As an example, 18 months ago I went to London on leave from Iraq. I was two blocks away from the Tube in Earl's Court, which took me to where ever I needed to go within city limits for £4 50p on a two zone pass. Going to the Imperial War Museum Duxford, was reasonable, and coming on the bus knocked 20% off the admission. Mass transit definitely the way to go. By the way: Ni, I say! Ni! Oh... Carbon. Does it really do as much (or more) damage than CFCs do? Even with as many motorized vehicles as there are? At any rate, it's still a pretty bad thing, just like aerosols. Mass transit is a nice way to get around, if you're willing to wait at a bus stop for 10 minutes in extreme weather just to get to the next bus stop, and walk the rest of the way to school. Notwithstanding, it's still more economical. And it's for the best. ..... But I think carpooling is better, it serves the same purpose, AND it isn't as exhausting... At least, I think. -------------------

CFCs attack the ozone layer. Carbon Monoxide and Dioxide are greenhouse gases, which, as we know, cause the retention of heat. Coupled with deforestation of the rain forests (tropical and temperate) and the growth of the Sahara into sub-Saharan Africa, the Earth is losing it's ability to control it's own temperature. Which will result in the eventual melting of the polar icecaps, severe drought and starvation, and the inundation of coastal areas by the sea. -------------------

Wakarimasu. And the greenhouse effect and ozone layer depletion not only will cause drought, but when the polar ice caps melt, the resulting excess water will surely drown the earth. Or, at least Alaska, Northern Canada and the Arctic Circle. And, of course, gradually Antarctica will dissolve too, thus killing us all. So, can we make improvements to reverse global warming? Or is it too late? O_O; Some countries, we just can't convince. With that said, I can say, very pessimistically, we are surely doomed to swelter to death in a T-shirt at 97 Fahrenheit in December, come year 2050. -------------------
