QUOTE
I sincerely welcome you.  I'm just sorry that Ranma and Risa and a few others haven't been active recently.  But I'm sure they would be happy to know you have joined our small crew. How were you introduced to Ranma?
Thank you, Hana. How I was introduces to Ranma 1/2: I was first into InuYasha (which is why I am Naraku*Slayer11), and then a friend reccomended Ranma 1/2 and I really got into it ever since then. Yup. And Studdevil, how about N*S? or Naraku, which ever you prefer. happy.gif

P.S. Studdevil- Is it Stud-devil or Studd-evil? and do you mind me calling you stud? Studdy? Stud-Sama? heh.gif

HAHAHAHHAH STUD-SAMA. That's cute.

Anyhow, which do you prefer: InuYasha or Ranma? This question is FOR EVERYONE.

I like Ranma1/2 more because the storyline is a one of a kind. InuYasha is too, but Ranma's even more crazy.

You're all nuts. All of you. Anyway, welcome N-chan (if you don't mind) to the funny farm.

As for Ranma or Inu-Yasha? I never could get into Inu-Yasha. But diving into Ranma was rather easy. Magical curses? Sure, I've seen enough playing D&D. Really weird martial arts? Hey, it's anime, and anything's possible in anime.

Stud-sama works. You can call me stud if you want too. happy.gif It's stud devil. Don't ask because it goes back to the runescape age. >.<

I much prefer Ranma for a few reasons. It's whacky and hilarious, actiony, (if that's a word tongue.gif) and well.. All around loveable characters. Plus, well.. There is no plus.

Ranma-kun, I envy you. Can't wait to get out on my own.... I think my computer is having a heart attack...

Welcome to the Ranma 1/2 FC Naraku*Slayer11! (I like Scooter's "N-chan". Is that fine?)
Please enjoy your stay.

Inuyasha never really interested me for long. I'll watch it if it's on.. Ranma 1/2s just... I don't even know right now.. lol. Ask me later.

Has anyone actually met someone or seen someone who looks like the real deal anime character?? I think I have. Does anyone know what Koko Debut is?? I think i've seen a real person version of Yoh! O_O

Another Question: If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be.

Suffice to say, no. However, I have met authors P.N. Elrod and Peter David; actors Walter Koening (Pavel Chekov [Star Trek] and Alfred Bester [Babylon 5]) and Jerry Doyle (Michael Garibaldi [Babylon 5]), and ran into (not literally) George Lucas. Peter David and Jerry Doyle were at a local sci-fi convention out at SUNY Stony Brook. P.N. Elrod and Walter Koening were at a sci-fi convention in Dallas.

My running into George Lucas is kind of interesting. I was providing supplemental security at Teterboro Airport, as a member of the NJ Army Guard, and during my checks of the various flight service centers, I saw someone who looked really familiar, but couldn't, for the life of me, identify him. I asked one of the girls behind the counter if that was Lucas, and they confirmed it. Of course, being the smart, yet rabid fanboy, I kept my mouth shut, since the airport wasn't the best place to start talking to him or ask for an autograph.

Another Question: If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be.

The one thing I'd change about the world? The over-reliance on fossil fuels.

Yes. I like that a lot, actually, Scootie-kun (is that ok? xd.gif). I owe him for coining me such a nice name. I can't believe I never thought of that. I was thinking more Naraku-chan or ~N*S11-chan. But I'd like N-chan or Nara-chan, please.

[SIZE=7]Has anyone actually met someone or seen someone who looks like the real deal anime character??[SIZE=7]
Ranma 1/2? No. Inu-Yasha, Yes. My older brother sometimes looks like Miroku, but barely. So I don't really know anyone who CLOSELY resembles a Takahashi character.

Another Question: If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be.
heh.gif World peace, no greed, etc. Meh... A little bit childish, but I can dream, can't I? sad.gif . And, since that is pretty impossible, thanks to the Cancer industry, the war on Iraq, and other controversial things I won't get into now, I will go ahead and choose another one, something more conceivable. scratchchin.gif I have slept on it; the one thing I would change about the world is that I would go back in time and kill whomever started the first Department of Motor Vehicles! =_=.gif

World peace eh? What exactly are you smoking, and why aren't you sharing? heh.gif I wouldn't be surprised if the first DMV was organized in New Jersey. We have this nasty penchant for creating bureaucracies in this state.

hm i didn't answer my second question. World Peace biggrin.gif V All the way just like NarakuSlayer smile.gif Then we would a heaven on earth? I think. That's impossible, in my life time anyway, but wouldn't it be a sight to see. And I mean peace to the greatest degreee - where there would be 0 conflicts and controversies.. even among ants? unsure.gif Maybe I've gone to far.

Yeah. I have heard that a lot for some reason, you are not the first. And, it's not just New Jersey that is extremely bureaucratic. Try living in my state. Everything is just, "Sign this, Fill in that, please print only at the line on the bottom of this form". To really get a taste of it though, I would had to have been there. I am planning to go to NY between now and a few months, so I may use some extra money to go next door. But it's a bit scary, since New Jersey has probably the biggest crime rate in the US. Either that, or New York City.

The world would be so much better w/o tobacco. But, alas, I doubt it is actually the cause of war and unballance, not socially, anyway. As for a pandemic, smoking is indefinitely. As for the cause of cancer, yes to that also. I'm just not sure people are killing each other over a stick of poison. Okay, so maybe somebody is.. But.. It dosen't happen that often.

New Jersey isn't that bad, as long as you stay out of the bad areas of Camden, Jersey City, Newark, Passaic, Paterson, Trenton, or most of Essex County. It is, however, rather expensive to live in, with apartment rents typically 800-1000 dollars for a modest studio. That is, however, dependent on where you live. And if you plan on working in NYC and commute, expect to pay NJ, NY, and NYC income taxes, and the NYC commuter tax, in addition to either bus fare, train fare, water taxi fare, or tolls.

NYC's no picnic to live in either, with rents double or triple of what an apartment goes for in NJ, plus parking, or Metrocard fees.

Um, that's a lot of land to try to avoid, don't ya think? huh.gif So anyway, I wouldn't mind falling into a jusenkyo spring and turning in to a dragon so long as my dragon half was strong enough to survive most peril. So, what? That's expecting a lot, but dragons, theoretically, are pretty adamant as far as dying goes.

Not really. They're all marked on the highways, like the NJ Turpike, Garden State Parkway, I-80, Routes 46, 1 and 9, etc.

Especially since they're a rather longed lived species. The only problem is because they are a longed lived species. Human ages don't really convert to the ages of dragons.

No, I suppose they don't. But how are they a long lived species? Unless you are talking about those teeny Asian ones, dragons are merely legend... Erm, right? What do you mean? The period of time since the concept of the dragon was thought up?

Okay.. So they haven't been proven to have existed. Still, I don't know anybody who has seen them, I don't know. Whenever the subject comes up about dragons not existing with somebody, they just say, "what? you don't believe in dragons?". I'm confuzzled! crybaby.gif

They tend to be reclusive, generally shunning the environs of man. Which answers the next point that they haven't proven to exist. I don't know, but after centuries of persecution in Western Europe and encroachment on to my habitat, I'd be pretty damn reclusive too. And not believing in Dragons is like not believing in Santa Claus or the Great Pumpkin.

Ah.. True, true. Wakarimasen. In that sense, they are quite long-lived. The whole concept of dragons, as ancient as it is has always been quite mystifying to the mind of humankind.

As for not believieng in the Great Pumkin, for crying out loud, I just don't get these urban myths!! I'm sure all kids have had that little phase where they believe in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus, etc. etc., but like I said, when topics like this do come up, even when children aren't present, they just say, "you mean you don't believe in santa?", or "you've never seen the Peanuts, have you?", And I just end up replying, "of course I've seen the Peanuts Halloween special.. dry.gif" or "well, no, I don't really believe in Santa, y'mean you do?! ", And they look at me like I have snakes crawling out of my ears! It's a strange thing! crying.gif

Lets name all the times I've seen dragons... 1. Ranma's heavenly dragon punch thing 2. the Seven headed dragon thing... 3. uh. Lots of other design dragons?? 4. I'm sure there's someone who has a dragon curse... I think there is. AH there is. In the last few episodes..

Are there? I haven't finished the series yet. But I'm anxious to!!!

I like dragons, and they have a certain place in my heart, but that goes back to my young childhood... happy.gif And, I know, we kind of made this into a dragon-enthusiast topic, Hana. But, (everyone) please keep in mind that we should try to stay on topic. Oh.. I am such a Hippocrate... =_=.gif

The human species has discovered a lot of mysterious creatures. Therefore, I think if dragons existed, we would have discovered them eons ago. Then again, who knows what unknown beings prowl the earth, as we speak.... blink.gif
