BACKGROUND
Another rom i have for the genesis, this game is actually one of the best side scrollers i have ever played, and i have played A LOT! The game starts out in new york, with aspiring comic artist Sketch drawing a comic. All of the sudden, a hand reaches out of the comic and grabs Sketch's neck! a tall man steps out from the comic and tells Sketch that he will come to life, once Sketch is dead! but the only way he can harm sketch, is in the comic world. so the big bad doctor throws sketch into his own comic, and our game begins! The controls are easy to get adjusted to, since you only use one button for attacks, and one for jumping, one for blocking, and 3 for items. The real catch to this game is the fact that you are "in" a comic! as you fight, you have to jump from frame to frame, such as ripping open the white border between the frames. the enemies feel a little easy, but take FOREVER to kill. this means that in the first fight, you will be spending about 2 minutes for each enemy. The game has fairly good graphics, and is very .... choosey... (you get to choose a path, rather than going on the same one, as in most games) so it has a good replay value. The sound isn't an orchestra, but its not too bad. This game was very famous back in the day, so it will do you good to go back to the retro era of gaming, and play this game!

Pro: good controls, OK graphics, original, very fun
Con: difficult, boring after a while, enemies are too stupid, but too much life

Should i download this, or save computer space? RATING
given the fact that it is larger than most SNES roms... but it is extremely fun, and hey, you don't need 1.4 mb of space, i give this game a DOWNLOAD rating.
