Here are a couple of new ones... they're a bit huge for my taste but they're contest entries, and there's a size requirement. (Stock was lq in the first one)

I think they both look amazing. Do you only use high-quality renders or how do you make your sigs look so smooth? I'm so envious of your shop skills.

You should make or link a tutorial on how you do that wrap effect around the render so well...

I think you don't like it because it's a little too balanced xD
You liked the execution and the feel, but the elements are too generic.

Since opening my shop at another forum, I've only gotten requests from people asking me to use the crappiest stocks possible. It's a bit frustrating at times <.<;;; But I have really no choice but to work with those, I hate turning down requests because it makes me feel bad. As for a tip to make low quality bits look better, you can use one or a combination of the following:
1. zoom and smooth using tiny smudging brush
2. noise reduction filter
3. topaz vivacity (a photoshop addon)

I instinctively went with centered on that one because I was working with two characters (separate stocks). If I move one to one side, I'd hae to compensate by making one of them smaller or less prominent. Thanks for the post <3 =D
