I'm in Australia, Brisbane, and Love Hina Again, the conclusion to the Love Hina series was just released. Since I'm such a fan, I sneaked out of the house one morning to get it, but onto the review...

It starts with Keitaro and Naru's feeling for each other bing very muddled, but Keitaro soon leaves to work with seta. Naru feels lonely, and Keitaro's stepsister arrives, having feelings for Keitaro as they're not related by blood. She's good at disguises and all, but has a weird talking, flying cat. Keitaro soon comes back, and the mayhem begins (isn't it great fun?).

Throughout the feature, everyone in the apartments tries to get naru to confess her feelings for keitaro, but she always runs away (happens a lot, doesn't it?). Since Keitaro's stepsister (Katako) likes Keitaro so much, she tries to win his heart thorughout, but he only sees her a sister. Accidently comes to a magic abandoned house where any couple who goes there a destined to stay together, and Naru is left out (aww...). Keitaro gives her a ring, but she can't put it on (what a shame). Naru later goes back to find the ring which she loses after attempting to put on, but the magic of the house keeps her at bay from the ring or when Keitaro and Katako are together. Naru manages to go against it, and the house pulls the unlikely couple into the house for protection (it's get a bit weird at this stage).

Naru goes to try rescue Keitaro, but everyone from the apartments is being controlled by the house's magic. She manages to get past Kitsune and Mutsumi who're blocking the door. They're unable to move, so they're having a drinking party heh.gif . She gets attacked my Motoko and Su (who're also being controlled), and tries running away, but she doesn't. She brings the two to their senses, and gears of the house attack them, but motoko and su hold them off. Shinobu isn't much of a final obstacle, after naru beats her at rock, paper, scissors ^^", and Katako finally gives up (but only after kissing him). But since everyone's going against the magic, the house goes nuts and blows up (weird, huh?).

Naru holds on (keitaro's at the top) and scrambles to the top to find the ring. The house goes nuts again, blowing up whatevers left of the house, and Keitaro falls, Naru dives after, and they land. She confesses her feelings, they kiss, everyone glares at them. They get chased down the river, seta pulls keitaro into a moving plane (quite randomly), and naru follows (grabbing tama chan and riding on him sweatdrop.gif ). seta asks where they want to go, and you can probably guess that.

Ah, my favourite series finally ends *sniff*. And quite a better conclusion (in the anime, manga still incomplete) then some other endings i've seen and been disappointed by. Very much worth my $30, and a must have for any Love Hina fans! And anyone who doesn't know what Love Hina is, go out and grab it now! (yes, sneak out of the house at 1am if required) ph34r.gif

That needs to be put in a spoiler tag I believe... but meh... It's not my department of expertise. I thought Love Hina Again was funny, but a waste... It didn't go as far as the manga did. If you really want to know what happen between Keitaro and the rest of the group, READ THE MANGA!!! The manga has a nice ending, unlike the series...

O.o Old topic.
Love Hina again I feel seemed lacking in the ending. When I watched the show around February of this year I did find the Anime funny like the original but it was quite repetitive. The story never seemed to move on and reach the objective which was love finally.

The two specials also featured and the first one of these had a fair ending where you saw the two finally feeling relaxed with each other. The second special was very poor as things went back to square one.

Ken Akamatsu's works are starting to take on the trend of having very well-done manga, crappy-as-hell anime.

Bottom line: read the manga. It has a better sense of closure.

Everyone keeps telling me to read this manga. But I'm not sure. I prefer buying manga than getting it Pirated. And Love Hina is done by TokyoPop (A Holes) so it costs 10. Now im 13 and i make little allowance as it is. I don't want to be paying 10 bucks for a manga. And even with my B&N discount i end up paying $9.30. I prefer SJ manga since its only 10 bucks. Anyways im still not sire if i want to read this but ill give it thought.

You're too young to read this. Even if I read it at your age you're still to young. I mean that manga is pretty preverted.

Also, your statement makes no sense because SJ and Tokyopop cost the same and shonen's translations are actually worse then Tokyopops, in my opinion.

Thirteen isn't too young. I read it when I was fourteen (my first manga, speaking of which, as my girlfriend at the time got me into it). He should be able to handle it, and it doesn't get excessively perverted.

It's not 'that' perverted, and certainly not too perverted for someone in middle school... It isn't hentai or anything of the sort. With five bucks you could go see a movie with much more mature content than this. Even at 13 years old tongue.gif

Honestly who cares what somebody else reads? The recommended ages for reading them are just suggestions, not laws.
It's all about maturity.

I watched Love Hina! I became involved in the story, but LHA doesn't seem too interesting. I guess I could give it a shot, but after losing interest in the first one, I odn't think the second one will contain my interests at all. Keitaro rocks. And the flying cat is gawjuz.

LHA is supposed to be on the verge of hentai, isn't it? That's why I never watched it. I was told there's excessive (insert forgotten word for lesbian hentai).

Not even close to hentai. It's more traditional ecchi awkwardness, which makes it awkwardly funny. And it's only in one episode.

Oh, and the word you're looking for is 'yuri'.

Well if you want to look at it that way go for it. But to me its just funny. Sort of like umm The Scary Movie series. Beside the latest one, they were funny but not on the verge of secks. What im trying to say is that it has Mature themes but its not Porn.
