Name: Raven (My real name actually)
Age: 20

I started drawing at a rather young age, both my parents were artists in their own rights. My dad did a lot of Native American artwork and portraits, my mother drew fantastical creatures from story books. It was inevitable that I would end up drawing as well. But later in my years I become extremely fond of photography, and evidentially I'm pretty good at it. Or else my friends just like fluffing my ego...@.@ I also like modifying pictures I've taken, to make them look freaky or otherwise nifty.

I write, as well. I've been writing stories, which I probably got from my dad, since I was old enough to form a written sentence. Most of my stories are of a dramatic and ultimately bittersweet type, as I don't like the sappy perfect disney type endings. All though on the rare occasion I can get a little cheesy.

Umm..nice meeting everyone!

I started drawing at the age of...aww shucks I have no clue...It just popped up one day.I beat everyone I come in contact with, challenge me if you dare lol joking about the challenge part.Though you could. At a early age,I was considered I guess the best, but I think my drawings are terrible.I really can't look at them for more then 5 minutes.First 2 minutes they look good, then they just look like sribble scrabble. In simple words,I hate my drawings and this fast progress that I don't see!

oh yeah I basically only draw with one tool to provide all the effects: a no.2 pencil thats all.My work is traditional art all by my hand...so far

I'm also a lefty, so that's pretty cool!

I have been drawing and coloring almost all my life (I still love coloring books). I really had no access to anime at a young age, but I did watch Beast Wars and Pokemon which helped develop my imaginative side. Around the age of ten to thirteen I began watching DragonballZ which really gave me a start on drawing human figures instead of the attempted form of one and a really colorful background.

I was always the best at drawing in my class, though the competition was lacking up until about sixth grade (for the second time ><). The art teachers were very poor and I really had to struggle to get any better. I have always been self-developed when it comes to art up until very recently. We finally got a new art teacher that could actually teach. I'm still refining my technique.

I often just draw, but occasionally I'll color them in with Rose Art colored pencils. I just got a painting set for christmas with oils, acrylics and watercolors. So yay for me. I'll be pumping out new art in no time!

As most artists are I too am a lefty. I thought I was pretty alone since I was the only left handed artist in my drawing/painting classes for 3 years xD

For the most part there was nothing really to my artistic life ohmy.gif I drew ever since I was young but got really into it 3 years ago. I draw mainly what is on my mind and what I feel. I do a lot of abstract and landscape drawings/painting. I am a mediocre artist/painting with only one thing I could consider my masterpiece. Unfortunately I do not have a picture of it or at my current residence but will upload it to deviant art eventually.
