From inside the kitchen, I watched as others showed up. Not that they would see me. I didn't want them to. Better that I stay out of the way, so that I don't hurt anyone else...

Not many people here know me, and few more even know of me. I've never been too outstanding in anything, and no one's ever noticed me, even before my abilities came to be. Orion saw right through me, though, and not the same way anyone else did. I'm lucky enough to be here, since things could be worse... oh well.

I'd already eaten by the time Tsukira had shown up, and now that Tammy was downstairs, thing would probably get crowded like usual. Time for me to go, then. I exited through the open sliding door leading to the back porch. I tried being as quiet as I could, but my foot caught on the door, making an audible "thud" run through the room. Damn... so much for going without being noticed... i thought morosely. At least the two here knew me well enough, I trusted them. I'd been keeping out of sight in case someone I didn't trust showed up...

"Hm? Hang on Tammy." My ears had caught the sound of someone's food getting caught in the door. I looked over and saw Jugen. "Jugen!" I called waving to him. Walking over, I smiled and swished my tail. "Trying to sneak out without being noticed again huh?" I asked, teasing him. "Come on, class starts soon. Let's get going."

Tona

I finally decided to go get some food. My stomach was growling like mad. I had walked into the kitchen and saw everyone there. I knew what they thought about me. I was the outsider. The weird one. I didn't care. I behaved differently. I did it on purpose. I didn't like being like anyone. I was proud of my weirdness. I wasn't going to try to fit into a world that would never accept me. The sooner the others realized it. The sooner they could be themselves and happy. It didn't matter to me one way or the other. They choose to live their lives that way and I lived my life my way. I went to get me something to eat. "Olleh, enoyreve." I said to them. I just felt like talking backwards a the moment.

Jugen

"Yea, you got me..." I said as I let myself become visible again. "Morning Tsu, Tam. I thought class didn't start for another hour..." I looked at the clock, and my eyes widened in shock. "That late?? Where is everyone? This place would usually be packed by now..." This didn't happen often, unfortunately. Both the empty kitchen and myself. I rarely showed genuine feeling, even to these two.

As Tona walked in and talked backwards to us, I just smiled and waved. I wasn't entirely sure what it was that she had said, but I was used to her strangeness by now. Her oddities, strangely enough, were what caused me to trust her so much. A strange person is usually an honest person, at least in my opinion. If someone is too normal, then chances are they're hiding something.

"Well, if classes are about to start, why are we still here? C'mon, lets go," I said, hiding myself again. They'd understand; at least, I hope they did. I just don't like be noticed, and the easiest way to avoid being noticed is to avoid being seen. And no one would see me without special help.

I walked into the kitchen and saw everyone just standing around. "You all are going to be late if you don't hurry," I said even if I myself don't attend class I still try to help everyone get straight. Grabbing a bowl out of the cupboard and then going to the pantry and grabbing some GrapeNuts cereal I sat it on the table and went to the fridge to grab some milk. Sitting down I poured me a bowl and looked at everyone to see who was willing to risk being late of the three but there felt as if someone else was looking at him to. "Am I crazy or are four sets of eyes on me with three people here?"

Personality: Quiet most of the time only opens up to her friends at the school. She is also consitered to be a 'freak' at school, considering that she's always got her nose stuck in a manga book, novel, or computer. But she doesn't pay much attention to them.
Background: She found out about her powers accidently. She was little at the time, playing in the playground like little kids at the age of 6 do, when this creepy guy comes and asks if she wants a ride home. She says no and ignores him, going back to her swinging. He suddenly grabs her and she starts to scream bloody murder ("Bloody murder bloody murder!"). She looks around frantically, noticing that there aren't any people at the park. She tries to get away from him but he's got a pretty strong hold on her. All of a sudden the ground under them starts to shake. Rocks start to fly at him, missing her. One big boulder hits him in the head and he's down for the count. She runs away, not exactly knowing where to go when she bumps into Professor Orion who brings her to Orion's School for the Gifted, but no after explaining to her parents.
Personal Weaponry: (oh ho this is where it gets fun) a SPAS 12, also is pretty handy with a crossbow.

I smiled at Jugen. He was alway nice to me. I got an orange and bite into it. I ate the peel as well. I looked at the others as I continued to eat. I listened as the others talked. Jugen was right it is usually packed in here. "Ssalc si a etsaw fo emit. Ew era tsuj gniwiever." I said and walked over to them. "fi ouy era deracs fo gnieb etal neht yrruh." I meant every word of it. I truley didn't care about being late. I sat on the counter top and continued to eat my orange.

I stood on the roof of the school, a glow surrounded me as I looked around and thought about my brother. He had turned bad when I was still young, hating me, but I never understood. It wasn't my fault that I had been born. The energy field got brighter, I calmed down a little, not wanting to blow a hole in the roof. My energy field disappeared.

"Time to get to class." I told myself as I floated down to the ground, using a slight amount of energy, which was every where, to descend slowly. "I wonder what everyone else is doing? Probably eating breakfast." I strode forward, into the school and headed for my class.

Finishing my bowl of cereal, I put the bowl in the sink. Standing their I tried to figure out what to do next, car or computers. "Why I'm out of the shop for once does anyone want anything made? I'm feeling inventive today and am taking up any challenge."

"WHAT?!" I shouted, jumping back from the cupboard which I had my face buried in trying to find something to eat. "It's that late?! How long was I out?!" I thought I went to bed quite early considering I just got back from Nigeria last night. "Dah! And I have World History at the end of the East Wing today! I gotta go!" I grabbed two pieces of bread and without thinking about it, I placed my hand over a side. Toasting that side just the way I liked it. I did it to every side after that and grabbed the corner of one between my teeth. "Sorry guys! I'll talk to you after class alright?! Oh! And Professor Orion asked me to tell you two--" indicating to Jugen and Tsu "--to meet him in his office after first hour. He wants to speak with us and... where's Emma? I gotta find her too! Oh well! If you guys see her will you please tell her to meet in the Professor's office?" I backed out of the kitchen and pressed the swinging door open with my back, "See you!" I grabbed my backpack which I set down just outside of the doors and sprinted down the hall, eating my toast along the way.

As more people showed up, I was relieved I had disappeared before it got crowded. The less people who noticed me, the better. I wrote a quick note from my personal notepad, which goes invisible along with me as long as it's in contact with me, and pressed it into Tsukira's hand. It read "Let's go," telling him that I was leaving and wanted him to come with. I'd made up this personal silent communication system on my own, as a way to talk without talking or bring attention to myself. I made my way down the hall, making tiny taps on the wall to show where I was going so that Tsukira wouldn't lose me. Most people thought the building was creaky, and that these taps were just the building moving slightly under the weight of age, conveniently enough.

Tona

I jumped off the counter top after I finished my orange. I decided to follow the others to class. It always got interesting in class. Especially when the teacher called on me. I hadn't taken off my backpack so I just walked to class. The day had just begone it was sure to be interesting. As I walked down the hall I heard tapping. I knew It was Jugen. I didn't have to hear the tapping. I could sense his presence. I'd never tell him though,it seemed he liked going unnoticed. I wasn't about to kill his buzz. "tahw si taht esion?" I said just to say it. I began to wonder if anyone took the time to figure out what she was saying. It amused me to see their expressions. I began to skip slowly down the hall.

Lillith

I lay on the soft sheets of my bed, those sheets that evelop me every night and refuse to let go. I am contemplating whether or not to attend breakfast, whether or not I am hungry. I can never tell, and therefore forget to eat. Ryou tells me I am thin, but I could really care less. What I look like is none of my concern. Why should it be? My shape changes dramactically with the dancing shadows. I sigh, and hear the familar sound of breath tearing out of flesh, stir, and rise from my comfortable dwelling, my favorite place, my bed. I seem to drift toward the door instead of walk and exit my haven into the hallway. I know I have missed breakfast again, but I also know that I cannot miss class again, that I will not forget. I make my way to class and ponder... The loss of this heaven, would be... Well, it is unfathomable for me to think of what would happen to me... Where will I go? Elsewhere, perhaps.... Elsewhere, just like in that book.... The Giver....

I sprinted down the hall, the toast still clutched between my first two teeth. I saw the double oak doors at the end of the hall and slowed a bit to push them open. I continued down the long corridor. The design of the school was like an old mansion... which technically is was. But it being a 'prep school' and all, Orion expanded it to an almost monsterous size! I came to an intersection of the corridors and skidded to change directions. I turned right and sped past doors and some other students.

"Hey! Slow down! No running in the halls! Yeah! Even you, Pohler!" a snotty classmate of mine yelled after me. He was a total dork and had that annoying sort of voice that made it sound like he was always congested. I rolled my eyes and continued down. Then, at the end of the hall I saw a familar back and hair. "Emma! Hey! Am I late?!" Emma was in my class and I completely forgot about it!
