At Orion's School, kids between the ages of 8-18 come to learn to control their mutant abilities. The school is located New York City. Sometimes, Professor Orion sends the kids on special covert missions to face rebellious mutants who want to make trouble in the world. This is basically a take off of the X-Men movies and comic books, but it has nothing to do with Marvel. I'd like this RP to be a 1st-Person point of view for your characters.

"Why did you ever become part of this family?" "Why do you have to be different?" "You're a disappointment to all of us." Voices from my family echoed around me. I was standing in total darkness, falling... or floating... I couldn't tell which. Laughter swirled around me. "No! No! Stop it! STOP IT!" I screamed. I could feel my flames licking at my sides. The flames grew larger and larger. They changed color from orange and red to blue and white.

My eyes snapped open and I looked around me. I was in my room, safe... I sat up cautiously and put my hand to my forehead. I could feel the cold sweat on my skin and wiped it away. "It... was only a dream..." My family saying all of those things were of course false. They wouldn't never say that about me... I mean, they're my family! I'm sure it was all in my head... that's all. I got up and put my feet on the cold wooden floor. I made my way over to the large window and pulled open the curtains. The sun spilled into my room and I opened the window. Birds chirping and some of my fellow classmates were already outside playing a game of baseball. I smiled and got dressed. I was hungry and wanted to eat breakfast!

I was sitting at the breakfast table, calmly eating. Here, I was accepted. Here, no one saw me as a freak. Here, I was happy. Sighing, I was just about to get up and leave when I saw Tammy comming in. Smiling, I waved to her. "Hey! Tammy!" I knew she was up late, and probably wouldn't have much time to eat. Classes would start soon, but I didn't care. Still smiling, I paitently waited for her.

"I don't understand. Why can't I stay here?" I asked franticly. They were the only family I had. The only family that acknowleged me. "It was an accident. I was scared." I pleaded with them. They were my brothers. The gave up on me. "Please help me!" My oldest brother stared at me angrily, "Tonaka, It's over. We've moved to many times. You won't ruin our lives anymore." My other brother pushed me out the door, "Ever since you were a child. We tired to put up with you. No more. Go ruin someone elses life." He slammed the door in my face. That was the last time I saw my brothers. I was on my own and didn't know where to go. I wondered around homeless for a year. Then I found the school by mistake. I've been here eversince. Three years I've been here. I wonder what I would have done if I hadn't found this place. I couldn't think of anything else as I walked through the halls of the school. My classmates passed me by. I was lost in my thoughts. I didn't even notice them.

As I woke up from under my newly improved '66 Corvette I had to finish it. The ratchet was still where it was when I fell asleep so I took it in my hand again and begin twisting away at a loose nut. Looking at my other new addition I got up when my stomach growled loud enought to wake the dead. I hadn't ate anything in the last two days. I hate it when that happens, so I got up and started walking for the kitchen.

Nigel made his way through the thick slimy swamp water.' I can keep running for another day or two but these people just wont stop,' he thought as he tripped into the water.' Where did he go,' a man said as the entire town entered the swamp behind him.' I see him lets kill that mutant,' they yelled running as him still throwing things.' Stop please stop,' Nigel yelled as his eyes turned red and millions of little baseball sized balls energy balls flew out of his body making a giant explosion.
