Story-4.5

Primarily, the story is about a young vampire girl named Hazuki (also known as Mistress Luna). She is under the careful watch of her father's servants, who for some reason wanted her to never leave the castle. When Kouhei, Seiji, and Hiromi, workers for a magazine about supernatural beings, visit the castle, Kouhei meets the young vampire, and she "kisses him"--in the vampire's way. She is surprised how Kouhei doesn't "change" and tries to order him to do it, but he ends up doing it on his own free will. Now, Hazuki, as she now refers to herself as, is free from the prison.

Although I love the story, the one part of the story that I didn't find interesting at all was the constant reminders of vampire's weaknesses, how weak humans are compared to supernatural beings, etc. Still, it is something that hooked me and I plan on seeing through until the end.

Characters-5.0

Very, very good. Each character has their own unique personality, and each character has their own role, although occasionally it will be simple. Each have their own unique abilities (in a sense) as well. For example, Seiji and Kouhei's Grandfather practice ancient Shinto magic (for those of you who aren't too much into Japanese culture, the little sticky pieces of paper with scribbles on it followed by a certain spellcast). Humor is found in every character so far, except for, of course, the bad guys.

Animation/Art-4.5

The art is very, very good, definitely a well chosen style for the theme of the dark world of vampires, especially early on, and the characters are well done too. I was very impressed by the smoothness of the animations, especially concerning the action sequences, although sometimes they can jump ahead or they won't even show you what's happening (the occasional yelling usually makes you think of something painful o_0). The place where it loses the points, however, is in the main character Kouhei's house. Almost all the time, you see the insides of the house from the outside, and then the animation jumps slightly.

Voice Acting-5.0

Very good, the reactions, everything! Not much else to say, since there are no dubs.

Overall- 4.75
