If you are a parent or a decent human being, I urge you to sign this petition to ban all forms of anime in the United States. Anyone who is found in possesion of anime should be arrested and jailed for an exhorbant period of time. Anime is a dark scourge upon our beautiful nation, and we don't need this Japanese filth corrupting the hearts of the children.

As a resonsible Christian, I demand to see this garbage removed from our nation. Please sign this petition and send it to George Bush, your Congressman, and the makers/distributors of anime filth and depravity.

1. Anime can not be banned.
2. The President wouldn't do anything, because he can't.
3. It's cartoons, just because some people don't like it, it can't be taking off the air. It's like me not liking Soaps. Oh, I'll just write to the President and tell him to take them off the air. Nuh-uh. Not gonna happen. You can't make everyone happy what you do. Hell, there are worse programs on just everyday tv, I don't see anyone trying to boycot them. Hypocrites. All of them, it's for intertainment purposes, sure people can do stupid things after watching anime, but if a little kid would be to watch a super hero show they'd do that too. Alright, I've seen this scenio so many times. T-T It's all with Christians. I'm not saying having a religion is bad or all Christians are this way, but has anyone read the Bible? o _o . That calmed my nerves! I would Happily go to jail for anime, when i get to the jail cell and they ask what i did i would say Quadruple Murder! lol yeah i figured out it was fake like 2 hours ago. I was planning to close this thread but i don't know how to! :-p if anyone does know close it please. thank you very much. Btw, anime is too cool to be banned. I bet Dubbaya watches anime himself!

Hmm... just replace all occurences of "anime" with "video games" and its the same garbage as those who are against video games spit out. There are two things that cause a petition like this to auto-fail: the 1st amendment and Seperation of Church and State. I don't care if your "christian morals" makes anime seem wrong, the only thing you do with that kind of arguement is just shut off the TV or just plain not watch anime, not that hard to do. All I can say is thank God he/she hasn't seen Negima!, he/she would have freaked.

Others do it because they feel it gives them some form of purpose. Others do it for power, influence and money. Unfortunately, the latter are often the ones which we find ourselves agreeing with.

So who do we oppose? Those who say things for the sake of saying them? Or those who say them for the sake of their own ends?

This changes nothing. Unfortunately these incidents have too much emphasis put on them for people to be concerned with that which is truly wrong.

THOSE STUPID IGNORANT RETARDS! How the hell can they even make a notion about animes if they think they're so disgusting? Obviously, they've watched more than 5 of the episodes to understand that storyline. Contradicting themselves will only get them thrown in jail. They're basicly saying: "I want to be thrown in jail with those evil anime watchers because I watched the animes to." Have you also noticed that whoever this is has only listed two animes? What about all of the other animes. Obviously they're very ignorant because you can't say things about an anime that you've never watched. Yet, they're writing descriptions about (ONLY TWO) animes?

Like someone said above, you can't make everyone happy. Everyone has a different opinion on what they think anime is. If you could write a petition and have it granted, nothing would be in this world. We wouldn't have a world, because stupid ignorant people like the people who signed this petition are ignorant.

Plus, if you don't like anime, don't watch it! If you don't like manga, don't read it! If you're still in the stoneage and don't have something called a "V-Chip" then go get one, or you won't be shield from "evil Japan." Things like that just makes me wanna go up to them and see what they think is correct. George Bush will never be able to ban anime, unless he bans the internet. How do you ban the internet? You can't. You'd have to ban cellular phones, but people could still goto Japan and get it. Well, you'd have to ban leaving America. People could still watch TV, well ban TV. There're way to many things you can do to watch anime. I'm not going to be Amish, so I can't use technology. Whoever made the petition is ignorant and contradictory. There's no possible way to ban anime unless we did something that killed off every trace of anime (which would take waaaaaaaaay to long, >_>). Anime is an artform. Manga is also an artform.
